6-7 teams in like 1½ year? I love Naniwa, fellow Swede and Brotoss. But man, he needs to stay loyal, I would never get him to my team, knowing that he will stay for a couple of months.

3 teams in 1½ year actually.

2010-11 — 2011-01 Team Empire

2011-01 — 2011-09 Dignitas

2011-09 — 2011-12 compLexity

2011-12 — 2012-07 Quantic Gaming

and 4 in his SC2 career before that.

I don't know the exact date when he joined Dignitas but he didn't joined them at the last day of January it has been more than 1½ year since, right?

I'm well aware of that he has been on more teams before, liquidpedia is our friend. I just corrected the guy who said that Nani has been in 6-7 teams over the las 1½ year.

Anyways, I hope that this was the best solution for both Quantic and Nani.

Liquid'Nani! Liquid could use a solid protoss apart from Hero.

I think naniwa could win 10 GSLs and liquid would still not want him. He just does not fit the team spirit at all.

TL needs less team spirit and more good players. It's not as if they live closely in a team house where "not getting along together" can lead to serious issues.

I dont get why so many people are like dont go to EG. Seriously what is wrong with one of the best foreign teams with a lot of sponsors? Also they are really putting their players out there in terms of other content which gives them more of a team feel than a lot of other organisations where the only thing players have in common is the tag in front of their names.

I wish Naniwa will go to the team that suits his needs best and that can give him the best possible offer.

You're misreading. People are saying EG won't pick him up because he doesn't get well with IdrA.

Screw EG BMing naniwa. He puts up more results than their entire "politically correct, image-police" team combined. EG is a SC2 entertainment/media organization, not a competitive pro team. They can't seem to win anything or put up results anywhere close to back-to-back GSL Ro8 finishes, so damuslim nor any of them have any room to talk. Maybr spending more time training in the lair and less time making videos and hawking products would change things a bit. Regardless, naniwa is IMO the most entertaining player in the scene, and I am sure he will find continued success anywhere he goes. Whichever team does pick him up is my new favorite team, at the very least. Naniwa fighting, show all the haters that jealousy can't stop you!

Liquid rejected Genius, no way they are interested in Naniwa

They said no to Genius because they don't want more Koreans

By the way I never heard that Genius was rejected by TL. Where did they say that, and is the reason official?

He said it in a "This is game" interview after the GSL that he found it hard joining foreign teams and that he was rejected by TL.

No Korean team is going to pick up Naniwa. They have many players in Code B that are better than him, and they're not sending any of them to foreign tournaments. Don't think they would spend the money to fly Naniwa around. If Naniwa doesn't find a Korean team to stay, his skill will decrease and will probably be eliminated from the GSL next season.

Don't wanna sound like a Naniwa fanboy, but alot of code b players that are better? Sound like you just don't like the guy. He has gotten to ro8 twice now...

Well this is a surprise, did not see this coming at all. Wonder what team he will join next especially if he wants to stay in Korea to keep playing in the GSL.

Where do some people see all these imaginary "Naniwa haters"? The amount of people who arbitrarily "hate", insult or disrespect Naniwa is neglectable here on TL. Critical comments do not make you a hater and it's not like Naniwa's history would provide no potential for some questions.

... and in THIS moment, the most important question appears to be solved.

Who knows how many code b players would have gotten to the ro8 if they were given a spot in code s ?

I love how everyone is like "Team A won't pick up Naniwa because their player B dislikes him" ... Like one player's feelings has an impact on large scale stuff such as this?

The most logical explanation is that he already has a team in mind, otherwise he wouldnt have left them.

He is a super competitive player that pushes himself to the absolute limits, therefore he does not fit EG at all who are more geared towards getting "personalities"
