Can't see it happening. EG always consults the other players before adding anyone and many EG guys have problems with him.

players don't impact coach decisions they are just players, players have to adapt even with a player they don't like if the team wants to recruit

Heh. There's no way he's going TL or EG, seeing as his personality doesn't fit with TL at all, and EG wants marketable players. Also, Naniwa seems to be on bad terms with pretty much everyone on EG. Which is kind of sad, I think those two teams would be able to put enough pressure on Naniwa to change his behavior for the better.

I doubt mouz could afford him. They couldn't keep Thorzain and finance his Korean plans - how could they keep Naniwa happy?

I am not sure what the reality is, but it looks like Naniwa asked to leave Quantic, left, and is now searching for another team.Quantic spent time and money for Naniwa, and if another team wants him then they should be compensated for that. The other team should have to buy the contract off of Quantic. I don't know who will grab him now. It seems that Naniwa has gone through most of the major teams, I don't think that he will be able to get on one with the same amount of resources and perks as Quantic. The OP clearly tates that Quantic doesn't want him if he's not interested in playing for them... Which is fine, if Quantic doesn't want him. But they have the right to tell Naniwa to go find another team that would pay for the rest of the contract, or they could do it themselves. That way they would be able to get something out of the deal instead of losing on of their best and well known players for absolutely nothing.
Perhaps no team would buy him, they have a raging Naniwa and the Quantic sponsors are not happy about this situation. That's why Quantic rather released him, and gained popularity of the fanbase, because they held the moral upper ground. And other players will see that too and think: Well, Quantic seems to be a fair team!

Quite unexepected, Good luck on what he pursuits and we will see. My bet is SK or BW team

What can ST offer him that Quantic cannot ? Lots off redbull. But I don't think its Startale though. SK and Fnatic are very possible, both have the money and can give him support in Korea. SK would probably be the best fit for Naniwa since they don't really focus that much on the team aspect, so it would be more like a personal sponsorship thingy. Mousesports could be possible as well. But I don't think he'll join a Korean team, as the RAKAKA article (the ones that published this long time before it was even announced) said that he left Quantic due to them not being able to send him to events. Earlier this month somebody asked him if he would go to MLG Spring Championship and he answered that he would if Quantic would be kind to send him there. He won't join Fnatic because there is nightend and he won't join SK because there is MC.

+ Show Spoiler +Well the way he acted when he lost in TSL4 was really pathetic. I don't think he deserves to be part of a Korean team.

I think it might be mTw.Naniwa, because they have Dimaga, they just got Supernova, so they need a good protoss?? Maybe? I don't like speculating

To everyone saying that he's going to StarTale: where's the logic in that?
Foreign teams have more money for salaries and trips to tournaments. Quantic players in Korea can live and train in the StarTale house. So jumping from Quantic to StarTale would mean the same practice environment, but most likely a lower salary / less foreign trips.
The HerO situation was the exact reverse, oGs didn't have much money, Liquid had more, HerO could most likely get a better deal out of joining Liquid while keeping his practice environment the same.

That being said I would cry and rage if TL signed Naniwa. He does not come anywhere near fitting in with their team spirit.

Mouz.Naniwa for sure. I cant see anywhere else

I'm pretty sure Quantic wanted Naniwa to leave, I remember IdrA being interviewed on youtube saying "They are looking to get rid of him". Pretty sure they used the argument of his recent loss at WCS Sweden against SortOf and at TSL4 against JohnnyREcco to leave him.

I feel mouz would be a good fit though, he seems to get along well with everyone and Mana is opening up a house in Korea... I feel it could work

Wow, this is a surprise. Curious to see where he ends up... I imagine it will be announced pretty soon. Maybe fnatic? Maybe a korean team?

No Korean team is going to pick up Naniwa. They have many players in Code B that are better than him, and they're not sending any of them to foreign tournaments. Don't think they would spend the money to fly Naniwa around. If Naniwa doesn't find a Korean team to stay, his skill will decrease and will probably be eliminated from the GSL next season.
