Just the StarLeagues makes it too Korea centered.

Guys, the Starleage-only list was a joke...
I suppose we could keep track of it that way since the GSL and OSL are infinitely more prestigious than any MLG or DreamHack win. No matter how important the TSL was to Thorzain, if he suddenly won the GSL, I think that would be the best moment of his life.

#ninjaedit2 obviously we cannot include online tournaments into UWC award

I think it would be pretty cool if you add how many times each players have been champion.

Taking a fast look it seems like MarineKing or MC have been the champion most of the times.

Maybe we should make a list of the unofficial foreigner champion?
Then we could let the list start with Jinro, because he showed us that Koreans could be beaten in their hometurf.
Or with MorroW because he won the first big SC2 tournament (I wasn't much around in the beta + early days of SC2, so correct me if I'm wrong!).

That way the title would not automatically be awarded to the latest winner of a large tournament (in which the defender participated), because koreans might eliminate foreigner champion! Then we could include prestigious online tournaments if people want to (ie. prestigious online tournaments is not seclusive to TSL3/4).

Anyone up for that list in addition to the unofficial world champion? :-).

EDIT:
I think the unofficial foreigner champion list might be somewhat more fun here on TL as well, because the list is not dominated by one country (I hope Sweden isn't sitting on the foreigner list ).

A Korean will probably win WCS though, and if there were unbiased qualifiers 25+ of the 32 spots would be Koreans. WCS is actually skewed against them because it restricts the amount of spots they can win.
