What the hell could possibly inspire such fanatical hatred? I'm genuinely curious. It's not "fanatical hatred" - it's been said numerous times before that players who join EG are substantially weakened as players. Look at PuMa, HuK & JYP. HuK isn't even half of what he used to be. It must be nice to live in a fantasy world where players decrease in skill once they switch teams. The rest of us however live in a world where HuK is not winning back to back championships not because he's become worse but because other players has become better. The korean training regime is starting to pull ahead at this point and once that ball gets rolling the skill level compunds manyfold within the teams. Your opinion. Although I have facts and figures on my side.
Puma won NASL 2 after joining EG, HuK won MLG after joining EG.
Sc2 right now is in a place where its extremly hard for people to win many tournaments in a row and show constantly good results..
There are only a few players who can always promise to place well in almost any tournament those being, MVP, DRG, MKP and maybe a few others. None of the guys on EG are those type of players, they are not so dominate that they can always post amazing results (not saying they are bad).
Just because they have not won everything while being apart of EG does not have anything to do with switching to EG, it has to do with the ammount of talent and skill right now in SC2 and the constant changing metas and what not.

Lets think about this for a second. As a community it would be kind of cool if he joined a foreign team... specially one that asks him to put out some content for the community. I would love to see MMA stream, or a replay pack, or just anything really.

Again. You're a tragic person if you think the only placement that counts in todays tournaments is 1st. A good overall placement proves that the team is improving and are close to the top.
You're arguing that EG hasn't done their job correctly. Who are you to define what placements they should get? You think its reasonable to expect an EG player to win every tournament? But they certainly haven't bought any of the top 5 players in the world recently so why should they? The only player that was heralded as a top 5 player during his signing with EG was Puma and he has done very well recently. Your obsession with 1st place finishes doesn't changed that fact.
Can you even comprehend how hard it is to go through an entire major tournament and win it at this point? Are you really so naive as to think that the only thing that matters in tournaments are pure skill? That every player has the exact same difficulty of bracket play?
Your entire argument is ridiculuos because it shows how little you know about the scene. You have put some kind of expectation on EG that you manufactured in your mind. No one has an obligation to fullfill your wishes in that regard.

MMA has kind of lost his way recently but in fairness so has the Terran Meta game. He clearly has the talent to bounce back in time.
Re EG debate Think its clear EG players are struggling comparative to the hype. They keep buying in more talent and its still not working for them; I hope Stephano bucks that trend.
I did note from SC2 earnings that Incontrol has made 75$ this year after bringing in $1400 in 2011. So its not just their new talent that's on the slide.

On TSL in the GSTL and NASL S1 he was considered to be one of or even the best terran in the world. After he joined EG he got some good placements and results in foreign tournaments but i think people expected more from him. Maybe he would have showed better results if he stayed in a korean team, maybe not.

I can't stand the foreign team crap. If someone foreign wants to setup a team of all Koreans to play in the GSL and GSTL that's awesome and fine by me (FXO basically), but the way it seems to work now is that foreign teams incapable of producing their own talent are poaching rising stars from teams which contribute far more to SC2. And what do fans gain from that? At best a team that goes to the GSTL and relies 100% on Koreans (an exaggeration for sure) to get wins and then uses foreigners as warm bodies so that they can qualify to play at all.
I'd really rather just have it be Slayers/IM/ST/TSL/Prime/NSH/FXO/MVP playing against the KeSPA teams in a big 16 team league, foreign teams just water down that awesome talent pool.
