Puma has done amazing since joining EG getting second at dreamhack, 3rd and a second at IEM.
and huk has done well at the MLG arenas On TSL in the GSTL and NASL S1 he was considered to be one of or even the best terran in the world. After he joined EG he got some good placements and results in foreign tournaments but i think people expected more from him. Maybe he would have showed better results if he stayed in a korean team, maybe not.
Puma won NASL season 2, won IEM Cologne, got third at IEM Guangzhou, second at Dreamhack Winter, second at IEM world championship, third at assembly winter 2012.
He is in the top 5 of sc2earnings for Terran players and #9 overall of every player in the world, earning 140,000$.
Did people really expect him to do better than that?

I did note from SC2 earnings that Incontrol has made 75$ this year after bringing in $1400 in 2011. So its not just their new talent that's on the slide.
This is what gives the illusion that EG is a great team. They have sponsors that keep them afloat and they have good PR that make them relevant to the sponsors. But, the sad thing is that all this mechanism is independent of StarCraft. EG could work even in the shoe industry.
The community should look at results from time to time not just on personalities. When both mix it's great, but if we have only great characters we are all about drama.

I never said he won 6, that was someone else, I brought it up to make note of that. So, what? He has gone from being heralded as the best Terran in the world to placing high in a few foreign tournaments and winning 2 or 3 since joining EG?
When did ANYONE consider him the best Terran in the world? One look at his nonexistant GSL record could tell you that. He won one series over MC and you consider him the best in the world? Really?

Hype. Train. He had the best TvT at one point pre-BF nerf, and was the best at 1/1/1, that's it. He placed well in several stacked tournaments and beat "the best of the best" Koreans (MMA being one of them) on LAN. While on EG. He's one of the best players in the world still, while on EG.
Terran was far stronger, the match-ups were far different (even TvT), and many Terrans have had time to catch-up. That and the hype train made him seem better than he was. Blaming EG for that is just dumb.

Artosis has also stated many things that are wrong, he liked Puma because he was a meching player and because he was quite strong at the time. Artosis is not god.
With that being said, this is completely pointless and off-topic.

How about you take a look at those tournaments. How many other terrans placed above him in each of them? You still gonna argue that he's performing badly?
Your last few posts have all been attacking people who disagree with you on a personal basis. You skirt around the actual argument like a true ballerina. How about you confront some of the issues people have with your posts?
You alone have made up expectations for EG that you think they should adhere to. The players you claim are doing badly are getting good placements in tough tournaments. You seem to think that only 1st place counts as an achievement in a tournament.
Adress all of those issues before you start making an even bigger fool out of yourself.

PuMa has one, two, three, four, five, SIX results under EG. NOW, back to speculation. Okay man, you can think that if you want but I still have facts and figures on my side. What 6 championships has he achieved since joining EG? NASL S2, IEM Cologne, Dreamhack winter 2011 2nd, Assembly winter 3rd 2012, Iron Squid ro8, IEM season IV world championships 2nd place all on EG. His only result while he was on TSL was NASL S1. Not 6 championships but not bad. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/PuMa/Results But he has won only 3? That's not what you said earlier. Really? Artosis dubbed him the best Terran in the world numerous times, I think he said it on SotG, aswell. Clide is still the best player in the world too, right? Nestea creating the universe sounds pretty legit aswell

You proved yourself wrong when you linked Liquipedia.
Anyways, lets all continue our speculations on __.MMA or MMA.__ How did I? I presented facts which show a decline in results after an extended period of time playing for EG. You linked a player who has MORE results under the EG banner than under his previous team, you're delusional. Let me do some basic math for you; PuMa has one, two, three results under TSL. There was a short period of time in the end of last year (around the time he got his GSL championship) where he was really considered the best by a lot of people.
(My post was in reference to Puma, not MMA. I think MMA is very near the top still.)

He has gone from being heralded as the best Terran in the world to placing high in a few foreign tournaments and winning 2 or 3 since joining EG? There is no need to be upset.
I have not insulted or implied an insult in a single one of my posts. Also, you're the only one who is continuing this argument. You may have your last word, as I will not respond to you after this post.
