I heard MMA ate some of Boxer's favorite cookie dough ice cream and then lied about it. There was also some arguments and high tensions in the team house in the weeks leading up to that about things like MMA refusing to do the dishes when he had kitchen duty and always putting the brita water pitcher back in the fridge without filling it back up.

Ya, Stephano himself squashed that rumor long ago. I can't remember which interview, but he said that he practices around 8 hours in a typical day.

I think that's standard of any high level player.

Hah, what would SlayerS be without MMA? Remember that house tour and then they showed the trophy case and I think everything that was in there was won by MMA? Except the GSTL things ofc, but it was pretty much MMA who carried SlayerS back then too. xD~

not really, talent has a lot to do with it, stephano doesn't work as hard as other players but wins because of "natural" talent, plus there are a lot of boundaries for foreigners to overcome in korea while competing in GSL so this can also play a factor, it is more complex than just who works the hardest

If talent has a lot to do with it, why not capitalize on talented Koreans to win games and sponsorship for your team? Foreign or not has nothing to do with it, again. Let's drop your Korean bashing and get back to speculations about MMA.

MMA is going to stay at SlayerS imo. He is too valuable to be dropped. Still one of the best Terrans in the world. His slump might have to do a lot with -all- terrans having a hard time currently.

How is it "Korean bashing" when he says that Koreans who just assume foreign teams want them are being douchey? They're being egotistical at the very least. He even says that MMA might be right or wrong, it's more the assumption that the poster is taking offense to. I swear, question something/someone and suddenly you're hating on them.

I don't even necessarily agree with this guy, but the kneejerk racist/xenophobe labeling that goes on is ridiculous.

Because it is unwarranted. Korean pros might express a wish to join a foreign team because it might be a better opportunity. But it is an unwarrented assumption that all Koreans pros 'just assume foreign teams want them'. That's pretty douchey. Hypocritical much?

I swear, call out someone's somewhat racist thought (all koreans think they can walk into a foreign team? lol) and suddenly all the apologists rear their heads in defense of their bretheren.

It seems wrong to keep him on contract while not letting him stay in the team house, he must have done something very bad. Typically people get kicked out of buildings when their social behavior is continuously unpleasant or if they can no longer be trusted. But this is slayers, he may have just insulted SlayerS_Jessica.

Ouch ... that punishment is heavy handed ( for someone of MMA's calaber ).... very curious what reason slayers had to give out such a punishment ( Drama in slayers )
