Well, I'm not going to watch something I don't like. I like SC2 so I watch it. I like BW but, I don't really like watching VoD and have few occasion to stay up so I only watch important matches or matches involving team/players that I like. I don't like LoL (personal choice) so I don't watch it. I like DotA 2 so I watch it. I don't really what your trying to say, if you don't watch every game out there you aren't an esports fan ?

and not "what have you sacrificed for starcraft" im gonna say, parts of my school ( leaving me without a job or any career now when i really need it) and instead ive got 7 years of 89% gaming in competitions and the last percent is work during these 7 years, and i havnt got a single buck from it nor any attention, so id say most of my life is *****. to any young gamer watching this, when your parents say " dont play PC after 10 and go to school" , do listen ;P

I work 40 hours a week, I go to school full time studying pre-med with a 4.0 GPA at Harvard, I go to the gym 3 hours (I max at 350 pounds and have a 5 minute mile run) a day, I have a girlfriend that I have been dating for 2 years so far, and I am still a top 8 master terran on the eu and na ladder and top 32 master on korean ladder using a Micro$oft Intellimouse and a shitty Dell keyboard and I get only 30 FPS because my PC blows plus I lag a lot on KR ladder. I watch gsl live everytime it is on as well as every single tournament. I watch any terran stream of a good player. I still get sufficient 8 hours of sleep. Oh no, please, do continue with your amazing and believable life story. FOR ESPORTSSSSS

In high school, the BW days, I basically wasted much of my time on the computer on said game, letting my grades tailspin, my outdoor adventures become a distant memory, and severely crippled my social life. I played toooo much. If the question has to do with the "growth of ESPORTS," i.e. the growth of profits for all the lovely sponsors of the billions of SC2 tournaments: probably nothing.

I mean, I'm in college and I work a full time job, and still have time for eSports....hell I have time to go to every major North American LAN. It's not really the time I feel is "sacrificed" because it's what I love and enjoy doing. The real sacrifice, at least on my end, is all the damn travel expenses T_T
