Honestly, aside from missing a few outings on weekends, I don't play the game enough to miss out on much in life other than when I force myself to get up early to watch GSL rather than sleep in.

Most people don't spend money to go to events to grow eSports, most people do it because it entertains them and they find joy in watching or playing games... I doubt that anyone on here can say they sacrificed everything in their lives just to help eSports grow, without getting anything back in return. Everything in their lives? No, but many have put at least some time, effort, and sometimes even into it without any sort of reward with their specific motivation being the growth of the scene.

But after thsoe 20 minuts I had to go back to school since I was on a schoold trip. i remember you : D

Married with 2 kids and full time career means the only time I’m willing to spend dedicated to Starcraft is late night.. which means I sacrifice sleep mostly. I don't have any kids, but my wife says I'm a "game-a-holic" rofl. I have to play when she's asleep so that she doesn't complain. I know what you mean about playing early in the morning or late at night.
