Hey Everyone!
I thought I would take some time for us all to reflect on what we've sacrificed/invested to help grow this amazing world! Each and everyone of us takes time out of our day to support our favorite players, casters, and organizations to ultimately bring recognition and growth to the competitive gaming community. How many countless sleeps, relationships lost, and monies spent have you accrued over time!?
I, myself, have given up over 8 months of my life growing a community on twitch, thousands of dollars flying to different events like MLG Columbus and IPL4 in Vegas (all from Canada :D) and even changed careers to give me more time to do the thing I love most...Grow eSports!
If I could take it back for a second, would I?

SLEEP, lots and lots of sleep... It's a start I guess lol.
Plan on buying some TL merch when hoodies are added. Stores disabled atm anyway =|

Well I mean, I pay for stuff I enjoy watching, but it hasn't been a sacrifice at all - believe me, well worth it

Basically the same lol. Sleep is all there is to sacrifice at least for myself. Iv no money, and I'm not gonna sacrifice people like family friends or my fiance though one should hardly expect a person to do that lol. So yea sleep is all iv got to sacrifice though if I had the money a TL hoodie would look real nice lol

This is how I see it. It's not a sacrifice but an investment rather. I've dedicated time and what little money i had spare to the cause.
Well worth it.

I've supported several teams giving them money since i got plenty of it! and watched streams etc!

The only thing i can think i have invested into Starcraft/eSports is money for the MLG Arenas and some gear. Was always a introvert so i still spend little time with friends and i dont sleep much. :D
eSports is perfect for me because of all of that, the only thing i would considered sacrificed is practice time on my cello >.<
Damn zergs are always streaming...

Lots of money for gear/sponsor stuff, a lot of times where I had to get up at 7 for school and stayed up till 4+ a.m. to watch some american tournament. Lots of free time to play esports games or watch/support leagues/content.
Oh and a minivacation with my family to make it to dreamhack summer.
No regrets though, esports is awesome :D Also sacrificed is the wrong word here, more like erm I don't know put into or something.

How much did the game cost, can't remember.Sometimes have to stay up when favorite player is playing. Not much ;/ Is time spend on awesome forum a sacrifice ?

If I could go back I would change it to Invested =D It's a much better word. But it's always amazing to see how people help grow this, from all of you watching streams, going to events, buying merchandise... I hope you all know that every little thing you do for eSports is a huge help while trying to grow this community. I can't wait to see how eSports will look in 5 years. I pray for the best and I want to be a part of that.
