so its all speculation of whether or not he will actually take leave or come back into his team. There's no mistake in the wording thats exactly what it states and thats why people are speculating possible teams.

I suppose I'm hoping for EG.viOLet and for him to move into the EG lair.

Or what if SK picked him up? I know the SK manager said he wasn't looking for anyone else at the moment (think I remember him saying that in an interview at some european wcs qualifier?) but violet + mc would be the start of a sick sc2 team.

Read the original post again, he didn't leave his contract ended meaning he's waiting to see other team offers and to see whether he wants to resign with Empire or not.

hasn't he only been with them with a few months? I guess that short length was part of the contract when he signed... perhaps he wanted to see if he fit in with the team before signing a longer term deal.

Aren't EG and TL stacked right now, in terms of roster? Obviously both teams have a lot of dead weight that could be dropped to pick up people who are actually good (and actually...you know, practice) but I doubt that will happen.

Complexity is my bet, perhaps even Millenium

TL definitely isn't stacked. Even HerO said on The GD Couch during the Dreamhack Summer that they could use a few more players (because it's too easy to predict them in team leagues, GSTL especially).

I'm thinking a coL replacement for Nada as well. Their house is pretty far away in Texas, but it is the same state/region at least.

Killer and Heart are doing just fine and adding a super-good and super-marketable player like Violet seems like a strong play. I think he'd help connect the US players qxc, trimaster and minigun with the other Korean players as well.

P.S. Is anybody else getting increasingly curious about CSN and how Andrew came to connect with Violet and invite him into his family home in Texas? I've enjoyed Rachel's reporting and interviewing for a long time, but wondered how they support all that travel as it doesn't look like they get tons of views on youtube. However they are doing it, props to them and hope to see more of what they do.
