![]() The idea of amateurs and pros is really awesome, though it feels like pros crushing amateurs would be meh (provided it's a rape and not competitive at all) and an upset would make people sad. Still, awesome idea and looking forward to this DH as well :D

Not sure how that poster simply stating a fact is facepalm-worthy. He didn't imply at all that he was confused about why there are a lot of Swedes, he was merely reporting precisely how many there actually are. I usually love DH, but their fields are just dropping so far behind many other tournaments in terms of player quality that its kinda hard to get excited about this.

The winner is hard to call, but I think I can safely predict Stephano getting far and a Korean Terran losing to Goody. :D

![]() I'm really happy to see dragon, he really has a chance of going far, and after what we saw from him on TSL4 Qualifiers, i think i can do well here.

![]() I've always liked DreamHack events and this looks like no exception, the player line up looks awesome, I cant wait to watch some more WhiteRa, Thorzain and Ret games :D. As for the a winner I'd probably bet on Stephano but I'm also hoping for some major upsets in this tourny!

MLG on the other hand is more like a few European pros going up against the swarming amount of Koreans. Last time there was about 10 Europeans attending MLG, out of those 10 was the 5 highest placing foreigners. So we had 10 europeans fighting against 40 pro Koreans and then an american scene which got obliterated in the middle of this. This is an effect of 1, Koreans get paid/seeded to get in, 2 american scene is dropping far behind and 3 that the risc/reward relation for European players is just to bad for it to make any sense to attend. Eventually most high level Europeans that does attend MLG will eventually get knocked out as a result of a small fraction of Europeans fighting against an ever increasing amount of Korean players. MLG will the turn into a speed version of GSL, with the difference that it will start with some refreshing stomping of the american scene. I dont think this will be particularly entertaining and I actually dont think MLG will let it get to this point, because it will decrease the amount of viewers and hurt MLG as an organization. But if you prefer this I guess you can skip DH and hope for even more Koreans to join MLG next time.
