I think, the logic behind 144 players: 128 in the bracket from WR1, from seed 17 to N/A top 16 OB seeds seeded into the WB Ro16 like Columbus, making it essentially a second WB Ro32 (I think that would be WR4 in this case, was WR5 last time with a 256 bracket). There are less players total I believe due to WCS, which will take part of the time + manpower + computers away from the main event.
I'd be pretty surprised if anything I said was incorrect.

Korean Terran lineup seems rather unfulfilled, I don't have much hope, but I would love to be proven wrong.
COMPLETELY unrelated to balance - Look, most of the top zergs are here O_O

The MLG Twitch channel is lacking a thread, so I wanted to post it here that they are doing a great job at E3, even though their location is crappy (just a little corridor somewhere I feel like) with no audience. But good showmatches with pro's casting (Nony casting is great) and having Jim Raynor in person (more or less) attending is nice.

Super excited to see EG destroy the open bracket

kind of ridic that they didnt put a point/league requirement to compete, lots of sub high master players got in cause they were an MLG gold member while a high master who lives 20 minutes away (me) doesnt get to compete because the tickets sold out in 2 minutes.. sigh

Comparing the number of top level Korean players in this open bracket compared to IPL4 is quite funny.
Wow someone signed up with the ID SaviorSC2, oh dear.
