If he manages to get out of this group he really can play with the big boys - but I am highly sceptical since it's not any Koreans he has to face... on the other hand I really don't see any other foreigner being able to safely advance from this group.
Wish him all the best nonetheless :D
Just generally sick sick groups, where just Pool C seems slightly weaker for me than the others with Ryung and Alicia(just relative of course).
Though who knows - maybe they will show their A-Game and prove me wrong

Steph is already seeded for Pool play.
Yea MMA and LosirA arent even in this list, dunno how they made it to the Power Rank though, they wont be in Anaheim.

Everyone makes out of groups on MLG, it's at least a seed for the Championship Bracket Round 2.

They are seeded on Open Winners Bracket Round 5.

I doubt those are Seedings Putting IdrA ahead of Oz, aLive and PuMa wouldnt make much sense now, would it? More likely the order of entrys that signed up there Of course they're seedings. The seedings are based on MLG points, which is determined in part by how often they turn up to events.
Before points, seeding is based on performance in the Spring MLG season, the first criterion being Arena 2 standing (the bottom finishers from Arena get placed in OWR4, so MLG gave them the highest seeds, too). aLive and PuMa both narrowly failed to qualify for Arena 2, losing consolation matches in the Invite-Only Online Qualifiers.
Oz and IdrA both fell out of Arena 2 in the first round, so I guess they ignored their performance in the IOOQ (either because were in different regions, or they treated all "qualified for Arena 2" players the same -- too bad for Oz, who won the KR regional), and they went to Points. I can't find an updated 2011/2012 point list, but IdrA was rank 3 in 2011, and Oz was #71.

The assumption was that they'd attend the tournament and make use of those seeds, but it appears that like six of the 16 OWR5 seeds in Columbus (incuding LosirA himself then), they're not going to show up. They are among seven players seeded for OWR4 who do not appear on the Open Bracket player list. (It's Round 4 this time due to the tournament having one round less.)

Ah man this is really exciting! I love to see how some of the unknowns will do!

Does anyone know if the seed order means anything? Or how it was determined? Maybe I'm not as familiar with the players but I'm surprised to see certain players ahead of others.

Why can I not find the open brackets?! Can anyone link?
