*feel free to change title and/or OP to suit guidelines -- remaking this because Kennigit hated how the last topic was source: ZeNEX's Twitter
"ok. I've been dismissed in ZeNEX T_T" Due to language barriers, it is unconfirmed whether Korean team ZeNEX has cut Cutter (no pun intended) from the team [and for what reasons], or simply Cutter has left for uncited reasons. However, it is confirmed that he has retired from StarCraft II following this departure (mutual or not).
Exaggeratedly described as a physically strong Terran player, Cutter has been an active participant in the ESV Korean Weekly defeating players such as Whale from FXO and former-oGs/now-Empire Vines. It's unclear if this departure is due to budgetary issues involving ZeNEX's lack of sponsors as shown via their infamous topic ZeNEX wants the THING or an issue beyond that (whether personal and/or a team-issue).
ZeNEX last made news about their recent partnership with foreign-aspiring team: Team Legion (ZeNEX and Legion join forces). Though very little details have been made clear about this as well as how it helps benefits either teams beyond marketing purposes (they have mentioned practice round-robins, but that is it).
Though Cutter has been publicly noted by the foreign community as being: "Famous for being the strongest player in Starcraft II, he utilizes his muscular force to create an absolute monster on Starcraft II.", it is clear that it takes more than a strong body to prevail in StarCraft II, a strong will is also demanded.
Cutter will be missed.
Visual approximation
edit: as the COO of Team Legion, partnered with ZeNEX, he left for personal reasons, including not wanting to aspire to be a progamer any more. He still plays for fun, and still is engaged in the esports community, but he is not actively pursuing his original goal of being a progamer. Everyone please send wishes @93SooN about the recent passing of Whitey, his dog.

Can someone just sponsor zenex already? They are better than every foreign team just not the top korean team.

Probably had to do with the fact that the equipment can't stay in 1 piece when such a man is playing, and also hard to fit in a house with a man that fit!

Was wondering when the posts would come in asking if that is actually him, even better that there are pros being tricked. xD
I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, I think only those that frequent GSL LRs would understand some things.

This was in another thread. And since I had never seen a pic of cutter before today, the pics people used of the ripped guy threw me off. I was like "well if he looks like that and still plays on a team, he must not sleep much and spends his salary on roids" lol

That is just mean to link to if you read Cutter's bio there
Cutter is coming for you oGs, and he will not stop until he snaps ForGG in half and does push-ups on TheWind's unconscious body after destroying all of you.
Cutter's last act before retiring from SC2. T____________T

Guys, here's a basic (not exactly word for word, this is from memory, friend told me) translation of his long post in Korean which may have influenced his decision to stop progaming:
"Today my dog, Whitey, passed away after a battle with heart disease. He has been my companion for 12 years and tears come to my eyes when I think about it. The worst thing is that the day before he passed, he just looked at the sky as if waiting for something.
I was sleeping at the academy when the news came. I am so regretful that I wasn't with him in his last moments.... There is a hole in my heart since for 12 years I gave him nothing but love. When I found out I hoped it was just a dream.
My parents and I talked about the possibility of putting him to sleep. I was adamantly against it. I am just so depressed right now... Whitey, please don't get sick wherever you are now."

T_T This actually might be the saddest thing I've ever read.
I can just picture an action movie now where Cutter goes on revenge, taking on all of the GSTL teams by himself to (ZeNEX) avenge Whitey's death.

It sucks, but that isn't really in anyones "saddest" stories. If pets dying (which happens many, many times in each persons lifetime) is the saddest thing you have heard or have felt, then you are either very young or very lucky.

He was a well cut man.
He just couldn't make the cut.
He had to cut some responsibilities in his life.
He was cutting down on play time, so zeNEX had to let him go.

He might return, you never know. Different to this is like NaDa's father. He passed away and a season later, NaDa was just on fire. NaDa didn't leave progaming because the contract was much more binding but the principle is similar in this case I think. Progamer is scruffled around after someone close passed away.
