It has nothing to do with the rules though, just the fact that you need to try HoTS beta which is available at MLG meaning most people outside the States will have no way of actually making it there.

If that day is Saturday, it has been the case that there has been a gap between when the doors open on Saturday morning for spectators and when casted games start, generally from 10-11 AM. Casters like reasonable amounts of sleep, it seems. So, if Saturday's your day, it mightn't be a terrible idea to try *then.*
That may not be the case for Anaheim. The official casting schedule should be consulted over myself.

I will be at Anaheim...so no worries Terrans I'm going to play the hell out of the beta in between my matches and when I get free time there. I'll be writing a detailed analysis of how the new units interact with the current Terran metagame and how I perceive the metagame will shift with whatever new toys there are in the beta for Terran.
I'll also be noting what changes there are to mech Terran, especially in consideration to TvP, and you can be sure I will be writing a lot of feedback to the developers on what I believe they are doing right with changes to mech, what I believe they are doing wrong with changes to mech, and maybe I'll see if I can find David Kim and whisper into his ear and reiterate points I've already made about how they can buff mech currently in WOL without making it "imbalanced."

no he is right, they are to weak, they are only strong if you get 20 of them, and this is stupid; how about if i want to push with 4-5 tanks? i can't because they suck, also going mech does not mean sit in your base until 200/200 and then go out.

I'm serious, tanks are too weak. Protosses might feel that Marine-Tank all-ins will be too strong with buffer tanks. I guess nerfing Marines in HOTS is fine, they are too cost-effective anyways.
I'd be happy if Blizz nerfed Marines (slightly) and buffed Siege Tanks.

I feel like the editorial content on TL is more and more looking like an ad space for MLG. It's a shame, I've been registered here since 2003 yet in recent times I've had to use other sites to get proper coverage of some other tournaments.
I know MLG is pouring money to TL, however, in the end I think TL will lose out on this. For ultimately it isn't MLG that is making TL money, it is the viewers that are here. What you should always do first and foremost is to give the viewers what they want. Such as only having a countdown for MLG but no other tournament unless they pay you, that makes it worse for the viewers. Giving more attention to a small MLG pay-per-view invitational than a major open 100% free to view tournament (Dreamhack), makes it worse for the viewers.
Have a banner ad and let those who wish advertise there, but don't let money or advertisers effect your (editorial) content, I expect higher journalistic integrity than that.
