(Haven't played a lot against it since people think Marine Marauder should do the trick after 30 minutes.) Every top Sc2 progamer in the world goes bio against Protoss unless they are all-ining, and that's the point, you can't do anything except MMM without it not being cost efficient. Also the people complaining for the most part are not trying to make the match up easier for them, and a hell of a lot of them don't even play, but the problem is that the match up is BORING, it's not exciting at all, and the most excitement you'll see in a TvP is watching PartinG storm a bioball or Marineking kite a bioball across the map to his base. There is no variation, and Blizzard need to fix that, it's a horrible match-up to watch at the moment, and actually I'd go so far as to say I prefer seeing PvP over TvP, just because you can see different tech paths from both races without one being so incredibly better than the other. At the moment, Terran > Protoss in the early game, and Protoss > Terran in the late game, and that's it... | ||

Everytime I read an interview with this kid, I fall further in love with him. Such a winning mentality, so smart. Even like super-optimistic about HoTS. I cannot wait to see him hit his stride in this game, and I'm so glad he's enjoying it. | ||

If you have incredibly good control, Protoss should not be able to place forcefields / Storms unless the Templars/Sentries were in a Warpprism (EMP has more range than Templar spells and Forcefields if you use the AEO completely) Yes that does not apply to lower leagues and I honestly do no know if Protoss is way easier to play than terran or zerg at low levels, I also don't care. But if you are the amongst the top players and say you play better than your opponnent I think you should outmicro him, leading to - No Storms. Then I hear people like Demuslim complain about how expensive Vikings are compared to Colossi. He said that getting 8 Vikings vs 2 Colossi is just such a big investment that cuts into the rest of your army. 8 Vikings = 600 Gas. 2 Colossi with Range = 800 Gas. Yeah way less expensive than Colossi. Also, I think the real problem is that there are very few Protoss players that compare about balance, but some players from other races build their entire career on that. See IdrA, see Demuslim. Yes, if you use one Fungal Growth against a Protoss army and move all of your 8 Infestors right into them, they all die and you lose. That however should not lead to imba-whining. I win a lot vs Terrans, but I always lose to the ones that are willing to stutterstep through the entire map just to avoid Forcefields and Storms. But I guess that is way too much to expect from paid professionals. Since I always get personally offended if someone says Protoss is the strongest race, because Hydras are so incredibly slow off creep that they get useless. WELL GUESS WHAT, they have the same movespeed off creeps as Zealots. In conclusion: Fuck this, I'm going to smoke now. | ||

A lot of fans are anticipating Flash's excellent Medivac multitasking. It's a basic play that anyone can do so that's not much of a problem. What's more important is making a situation where that ends up working. I haven't been able to do that yet. No more customary, "oh well,i hit 60 food, better drop somewhere, lets pick a random side, here". Flash is gonna brandish dat decision making to the fullest. | ||
