In the case of EG it's just hilarious that they still lack the result although their whole roster consists of... the most expensive players there are/were at the time of the purchase?... They probably should just ask the teamleagues to sell them the trophy directly :D...
I guess you just saw the headline and immediately hit reply without reading? As mentioned at least once on every page so far Thorzain was going to focus on education unless a team could pay him more money. EG swooped in and delivered where no other team couldn't or didnt want to. Also since you claim EG hasn't produced any results, name any other foreign team that has a roster who has achieved as much as EG's players have as a whole with their GSL code S players and MLG finishes. Unless of course your argument was baseless. Not to mention EG's partnership with SlayerS is probably a big draw for players.
Dude, i seriously don't care if he was a free agent or not and i'm not gonna edit my post because of some nitpicking. I also don't care about Thorzains motivation and i don't see anything wrong with EG buying him or Thorzain going to them. But that does not mean i have to like it or get all "EXCITED OMGWTF!!!" about it? I honestly wouldn't care much if Thorzain retired, i'm happy he isn't but i, in general, seriously wonder anyway why any western european is doing this progaming thing full time whiteout a serious backup plan, the payout just does not seem to be worth it.
Did yout hink i was pointing out Teamleague success of EG for no reason? EG is underperforming in Teamleagues. Thats all i said and wanted to say.
As it stand i see the richest team buying/signing the foreign (which means markeateable) player with the most recent success... YAY FOR MONEY!
Btw: Saying "EG SWOOOOPED in" and saved us from Thorzain retiring is one of the most hilarious things i have read in a long time . Did they also "SWOOOP" out and send Axslav into unemployment? .
To sum my point up: EG buying Thorzain is a smart business decision. I don't like SC2 (Gaming/Esports) in general being a (pure) business. So i don't like signups like this in general.. No matter if Liquid is doing them or EG... Or anyone else.

Hilarious video, loved it.
I'm interested to see what Thorzains bench 1RM will be by the end of summer.

Really great video. Such a bombshell EG great job trying not to hype anything. Just drop some announcements on us. Love to see you guys mix things up. Also fantastic news for ThorZain. I hope he enjoys the EG practice and benefits some from the Slayers Terrans.

Ha, love the video i'm completely stoked for thorzain being on eg!

you are totally right, how dare the greedy Swedish earns money to pay for food / rent ! He should just give up his education and entertain us for nothing !

So since you don't like EG, you don't care if Thorzain retired, and you obviously aren't aware that axslav is on a respectable team what was the point of your initial post? To flame a post that was meant to welcome a great player on a great team? Or are you here to give your expert opinion to pro gamers on having a back up plan. Well maybe, just maybe, Thorzain knows more about whats best for him than you do. Im guessing with your outlook on money, you're not to successful in life.

Did you even read thorzains statement? It seems you didn't. He was going to quit progaming because it was not worth it. If mouz can't provide him what he needs and he's about to quit, why are people blaming EG for keeping him in the game?

It does, you say "well if he decided to continue playing". Well he didn't, he decided to quit, but then he got an offer that made him decide to continue another year. It has everything to do with what you wrote, since you got it all wrong.
You base your bashing on EG on "ifs", that's pretty silly.

Your ramblings about how terrible money is isn't very interesting to read either
To mcc: If you dislike something without even being able to verbalize why you do it, have you considered that it may not be very interesting to anyone else to be reading about it? If you had arguments or some actual foundation for your "intense" feelings it may have been something worth reading about and discussing.
