for Puma and JYP EG was a way to make more money and clean up the foreign tournaments easily while not doing so hot vs increasing korean skill at the very top (JYP is somewhat more of an exception to this than PuMa, but still the point stands)

for Thorzain i think rather than JUST the money, he gets to train in the SlayerS house 'indefinitely' and so its more like hes joining EG to make money AND get better in korea. so his motivations aren't the same as other eg 'snatches'.
