I dont understand your question. what did you notice? Battelnet show points, it hides the real skill value. I calculate the real skill value and show it to you. What mmr and points have together is very complicated. But to make it short: points mean nothing, mmr means all.

I am just pointing out that yesterday I have noticed that when you go into battle.net account they show you some new data I haven't noticed before (or it's just me being blind). Either way I've got there the following options: 1vs1 Division (which shows me the adjusted points), sc2 ranks Division (which I don't understand because of what it shows - I was using the sc2ranks for quite some time to follow me stats), and finally at the end the MMR calculator. My question was regarding the last part. I gather you have compared the results from BN and your plug in? Or am I really missing something... Thanks for your great work. Regards

No. All my tool need is that sc2gears save the replay successful. I grab the replayinfo directly from sc2gears. If you dont see a posttrigger running this means sc2gears did not fire my tool because it did not save a replay.

Regards You're using my browser extention (here). The number you see at your profile is your adjusted ladder points in your division. adjusted points = ladder points - used bonus pool points I made the extention before we figured out how to calculate MMR and before the sc2gears plugin (the 'mmr calculator' button in it is infact the very first attempt I did to calculate it). Nowadays I use the browser extention only for keeping track of adjusted points values of myself and the fellow players in the Israeli community (alright I'll admit I sometimes peek at my 1v1 division as well). Ideally I could keep track of everyone's MMR instead of adjusted points. However due to the way MMR calculation works that's just not possible unless everyone starts using an external tool.

![]() I get the adjusted pointes - I was interested how the hell that happened that Blizzard allowed to officially calculate the MMR ![]() As you can see I'm not using BN very often. ![]()

Any time it is checked or unchecked memory usage for Sc2gears increases. He run the analyer again if you click finetune because finetune can not work after the graph is done the mem usage is because a not so clean gc after analyer run should go down after time again

I'm about to worker rush my way back to bronze-do you know now that for certain you get promoted on exactly the halfway point(ie silver-gold halfway for bronze to silver promo?) No it depends on your volatility going into the next league. If you even out within a division tier that's where it will put you, or if your MMR exceeds the upper bound of a league, it will put you in the top tier of that league. The reason for these conditions is not that the system knows whether you belong in a new league, but rather which tier of the new league should it put you?

You don't get promoted directly at the halfway point. For example, if I win 100% of my games in bronze, I wouldn't get promoted until my MMR hit the GOLD range. Likewise, I win ~50% of my games in diamond, and got promoted ~50 points above the masters line.
