I'm guessing that they are random but you never know ^^
Division names are randomly generated, and divisions are created as needed based upon when a certain tier fills up. For example, if there's a Tier 1 division that caps out at 100 players, when another Tier 1 quality player joins that league, a new Tier 1 division will be created for that player, but it will have a random name.

1) think about that new players dont get the 73 but promoted ones get them 1) the data we collected so far show that tiers overlap! 2) if you want to get promoted for sure you have to play the 73 of the next division, because you have to earn the overlap. Interesting data for that is the avg opponent mmr at promotions/demotions and games between division jumpers ( eg plat vs master) This data kind of indicates the overlap is even bigger than 73

I'm guessing that they are random but you never know ^^ Division names are randomly generated, and divisions are created as needed based upon when a certain tier fills up. For example, if there's a Tier 1 division that caps out at 100 players, when another Tier 1 quality player joins that league, a new Tier 1 division will be created for that player, but it will have a random name.

I'm not sure if the data analyze function is working for me. It seems to make my MMR more erratic rather than less. I'm also sometimes experiencing a drop in MMR after winning a game. Should I post something?

1) the calculated mmr is BEFORE the game. So the question is more did you win LAST game! 2) if you play against not master this can happen. I guess the opponent tier wrong the average is way more interesting than looking on every game. the mistakes equal themself out because they are independent. 3) which league are you? do you have memory reader disabled? if you have memory reader disabled and have many games where 1 part is missing ( you or your enemy) the analyse cant work... 4) can you give me a pick with and without? if its correct is another question but it should allways bring the opp and self graph closer together.

Here's a thought - instead of writing something like:
1000, 1010, 900, 1050 you could write: 1000, 1010, 900, 1050, ?
This may help clear up some of the confusion surrounding the fact that the results posted on the graph are from the PREVIOUS game, not the game just played I'm not sure how to visually represent that though - maybe literally a question mark icon for the graph?

Ahh thanks for the response. In at least one of the cases I had won the previous game and then experienced a MMR drop. I don't have memory scan enabled. I have been holding out because I'm paranoid but I guess I will take the leap now. I'm diamond and the situation was not against a Masters player. I will turn on the memory reader, thanks!

Many games together with analyse and average are pretty accurate. Also mmr jumps and sc2 is a gamble game, so even if im 100% accurate a single game dont say much about your skill change...

this can still happen with memory reader. Only against master enemy this can not happen. I can judge the opponent tier wrong and i can be ( i am ) wrong with the offsets. So the data under master is not accurate. look at the top of the graph , deviation...
But if you look at average result like i said error equal themself out and the trend is fine. So if you are mid dia and the graph go up in average you mmr go up! ( and other way round ^^) also the promotion line is kind of accurate, if you are a while over it you will get promoted soon. if you get close to the lower one you run in danger of demotion.
about memory scan: i break the eula because they say "you are not allowed to gather information about the client"
Reading the memory is clearly gather information. Open the sc2 folder and look at the filenames is too. Checking the filesize by windows if you copy something is too. Starting the game is too. So you break the eula in the second you install sc2
The question is : do they ban. Warden can not detect the ram read because i don't change anything. However he could scan the hole computer ( against the law in many countrys) for my tool and ban you for that But people change the sc2 files all the time ( re-localiser , background changer). This is easy to detect and noone get banned for this yet. I don't grantee it, but in my opinion its total fine. Beside that, they have no moral right to say if you are allowed to read your own memory or not...

I updated to the newest version, and now it won't load in SC2Gears, I just get "MMR-Stats is still loading... try again." It was working before, and I've tried removing the old copy entirely before copying the new version into the plugins folder, and restarting sc2gears a few times, and giving it a while, but it still doesn't actually load.

-The tool collected data of PRESENT games. This means you have to let it run while playing. It does not work with replays! -You can COMPARE your mmr only to others at the moment if you play against MASTER opponents.
From the README in the op. The tool works fine under master its just not that accurate.
