thanks in advance. You need to use the whole directory structure that was in the zip package (lowest folder of the directory structure is 'MMRPlugin' which is placed to plugin directory) and then restart sc2gears & enable plugin from the plugin manager. When MMR tool starts it lists basic info to its 'main log'. For example regarding the DB file it prints something similar as (v. 14.0 is the latest DB file):
hh:mm:ss Loading HOTS DB file... hh:mm:ss OK Loading DB version 14.0 done hh:mm:ss OK DB up to date!

In few weeks enough S14 data should have been collected to check the offsets at least for the upper leagues (we will see then). Yesterday I did visually check several profiles from one community site that were demoted in the beginning of the season 14. For most their end of S13 adjusted points suggested that their MMR was somewhere near the lower border of their S13 league or below it (adjusted points often roughly suggest the MMR range). Thus _if_ there were changes to the offsets then changes may have been quite small.

MMR can only be calculated from some matches (you need at least one of such 'good games' for graph to appear). There are lots of requirements. You can read some from here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=334561¤tpage=154#3071

Should the graph reset automatically for the new season? This didn't happen to me. The plugin loaded the newest version of the DB, so that part should be okay.

thank you very much, korona!

No. Your MMR is not reset during season change. Thus the graph is not reset. If you want to see only s14 games, you can choose "this season" filter. Games are only moved to archive if offsets change (it remains to be seen if they changed for this season. But to calculate the offsets requires collecting data for few weeks).

I played about 12 games last night and noticed that the graph was still showing all of the games from last season without any of the games from this season.
This morning, I noticed that it is now showing all 12 games from last night and only those games (since it's a new season). I'm guessing things got updated to the new season when sc2gears restarted this morning.

Okay, thanks for the help guys!

My graph got an spike from 1600ish mmr to 1400ish after this new season, what does that happened?

If offsets were changed it is normal that there are spikes & calculations not necessarily accurate (good games against same league still give correct relational result compared to other people in same league). Please keep using the MMR tool even if calculations may some cases be incorrect. Lots of match data is needed to calculate new offsets (only very small percent of matches is usable for offset calculation). It takes potentially few weeks to collect enough data to be able to calculate new offsets. When they are published old calculations are also updated automatically.
Another thing to check is if they did the changes already during late-S13. Some similar behavior was seen in MMR graphs in end of S13. For larger population mid-season offset change (increase) would now go unnoticed as you cannot be demoted during the season -> No large league changes like in May 2011 mid season offset change.

They did change MMR for some people. I got placed two leagues below and was getting plenty free wins when I started playings.

Is there a manual MMR formula one could use in excel spreadsheet?

I understand that because of what blizzard did with the ladder things arent working 100% with MMR Stats, but how long do you think it should take for this to fix itself? Before my 3rd "good" game it said I was around 940 MMR and about to cross the master line, and based on my opponents last season, most of them were masters or high diamond who were now in Platinum (I am also in high Plat). It is jumping around like crazy right now, and its kinda confusing. I am not too sure if I messed up something when setting it up or if its just from these changes.
This doesn't use any games before the new season started, I reset the data when the new season started since everyone was being demoted and I figured blizzard messed with something.
Edit: Added a smaller picture

This. Wondering the exact same thing. I was high plat last season playing only diamond and masters. This season it seems all the diamond and masters are in plat with me. Kinda disappointing. I was hoping to get my diamond this season.

What's the Autocorrect check box do?
I'm seeing a very similar jump to Faain, along with similar instability in opponent ratings (this is using all my data): + Show Spoiler +
Also, I'm still in gold even though I've been above the green line for a few games and have kept winning. Last time I promoted into Plat the very game I crossed the green line.

I think the reason that all this is going on is because blizzard changed the required MMR for league promotions, so the graphs may be off. If you reference this:
http://sc2ranks.com/stats/league/all/1/all
You can see that the 200/2%/18%/20%/32%/20%/8% ratio that the leagues are supposed to be at are not being met. My guess is that they changed something with the MMR so its gonna be harder to get from gold to platinum again.

OK, im here cause i dont get a single "good game" in so many games for now. In logfile I can see that i get 75% games, 100% requires. My opponents are getting 100% in a few games, but i didn't for all my games in S4 for now. What do i wrong? Would it help to clear out all data and start from beginning?
|
+ Show Spoiler + This is the graph covering the time from the beginning of the new season (was placed from master to diamond) to the moment of promotion back to masters. It doesn't make any sense to me, maybe it would be helpful to you guys.
