I think its more about his history and how many of his maps have been used extensively in GSL? Its not like ESV didn't make an announcement when Ironman (maker of Ohana, and others) joined their team. Although I can't count how many times when people talked about tournaments using new maps etc, people reference BW and say only Koreans can make good maps etc. This is just another example of the foreign scene and korean scene working towards becoming more of a global community, which I'd say is a good thing . | ||

I have experienced Jacky as an extremely nice person who wants to interact with the foreign mapmakers and learn every day. Also his English is pretty damn good for a Korean! Well once Korea gets serious about SC2 and all the BW mapmakers come over and an organization like Kespa is in place, Koreans may get the monopole for mapmaking pretty quickly.... | ||
