Don't maps from both the non korean and korean world kinda get used indesrimant to the race of the person who made them? Does it actually matter if people live in a house together playing Starcraft? Don't you have to connect online to play with each other anyway?

For the record, Crossfire SE is based on Sin Peaks of Baekdu, and not Peaks of Baekdu. ![]()

While foreign pro players can get along with korean players in person and at tournaments, it's nice to see (for once) a korean map-maker take his time to associate with foreign map-makers and befriend them, work with them, and share mapping skills with them. For many of us, whether we are players, spectators, mappers, organizers, or pro players, we may not get the chance to actually work with a korean who's been there through broodwar. As corny as it may sound for many people, it's quite an honor and a pleasure to finally be associated with a korean at close-hand, and it's why I am very excited to be working with Jacky on future projects. Whether the future maps are good or bad, making a map with one of the better mappers out there is a dream come true ![]()

Being on the same team as someone has competitive advantages. Having them explained to me from the map maker perspective was great and educational. The people who tried to take this opportunity to be a dick or w/e were funny ![]() you get quoted cause yours was by far the worst. congrats!

On a side note, to all those bashing his maps, when is the last time you made something good enough for GSL to put into their tournament?
