Does it actually matter if people live in a house together playing Starcraft? Don't you have to connect online to play with each other anyway?

Crevasse was good, Crossfire a remake (and horrible), Xel'Naga Fortress was decent and Protoss Paradise has rightfully only survived one GSL season. But whatever, LSPrime made not only Tal'Darim Altar, he also made Dual Sight. So, I'm looking forward to the new creation we'll get to see.

I had to chuckle when I saw which of the Prime maps were by Jacky. They are the most imbalanced ones, of course. Regardless, Jacky is an excellent map maker.

For the record, Crossfire SE is based on Sin Peaks of Baekdu, and not Peaks of Baekdu.

His maps were considered good at the time, and CbtS was an experiment. Judge based on what he shows you in the future, methinks :D

Granted his maps may have not been the best, or the most accepted, but many of his maps have been around for a while, and crossfire has been an iconic map for quite some time. Overall, he's a knowledgeable map-maker with a lot of talent under his belt.

While foreign pro players can get along with korean players in person and at tournaments, it's nice to see (for once) a korean map-maker take his time to associate with foreign map-makers and befriend them, work with them, and share mapping skills with them.

For many of us, whether we are players, spectators, mappers, organizers, or pro players, we may not get the chance to actually work with a korean who's been there through broodwar. As corny as it may sound for many people, it's quite an honor and a pleasure to finally be associated with a korean at close-hand, and it's why I am very excited to be working with Jacky on future projects. Whether the future maps are good or bad, making a map with one of the better mappers out there is a dream come true

he isn't moving into a house with them.. and the comparison is weak because it is widely considered hugely beneficial to live with teammates.

Being on the same team as someone has competitive advantages. Having them explained to me from the map maker perspective was great and educational. The people who tried to take this opportunity to be a dick or w/e were funny

you get quoted cause yours was by far the worst. congrats!

Awesome news.

On a side note, to all those bashing his maps, when is the last time you made something good enough for GSL to put into their tournament?

This is really exciting, very cool to see Korean and "rest of the world" work together with maps!!

Even though he hasnt made the very best maps, I am sure both Jackie will develope in ESV, just as ESV will develope together with jackie.

I am sure ESV will make alott of new and great maps in the future, they got so much talent!
