well yes but from what i've heard the only person that came out to say anything against prime's victory (from ST) is July and ST is made up of more than just July no?

According to John there was a rumor that some of the Prime/StarTale members refused to talk to eachother right now, and July certainly didn't look too happy. Regardless, MKP aims to win this whole thing, so even if he made stuff somewhat harder for himself by picking Taeja, I'm quite sure he's confident he can take him down as well, in other words: there was no real harm for him in choosing Taeja over Squirtle, whereas it might be seen as good sportsmanship and manner.

Fun fact:
in the previous GSL, Genius and DRG were in the same group in RO32. Genius won the group by defeating DRG. They were also in the same group in RO16. The other two players of that group, Nestea and Marineking, had won their RO32 groups. Genius and DRG didn't face each other in this group because Genius lost his first match and DRG went 2-0. They then faced again in the final of the tournament where DRG won 4-2.
in this GSL, Genius and Supernova were in the same group in RO32. Supernova won the group by defeating Genius. They are also in the same group in RO16. The other two players of that group, Naniwa and Virus, won their RO32 groups. Genius and Supernova will not face each other in their first matches.
So, the only logical conclusion is that Genius will advance as #1, Supernova as #2 (but they will not meet in the group), and then they will face off again in the final where Genius wins 4-2. ONLY LOGICAL CONCLUSION.

I'm really disappointed in July and the ST team (apart from Parting who seems to be an exception here). It's ok to be frustrated or a bit angry, when such things happen. And it's ok to feel a bit betrayed in those moments of the match, with all the emotions and the pressure. But now, after a week has passed and everyone had time to reflect things that happened, to still come up with that and fire a big load of hate towards the whole Prime team, is just bad manner, bad sportsmanship and shows some lack of character, especially if it comes from an experienced person like July, who should be old enough to be responsible for the things he says. ST really began the become one of my favorite teams, because they had a lot of interesting players, who quite seemed to have some good character.
But these things are just shit. Offending Marineking personally after the finals, while he in person had absolutely nothing to do about the decision, is just so bad mannered. I've lost a lot of respect for the whole team (except Parting, who seems to be one of the only reasonable guys of the team, and accepted the decision).
EDIT: And well, it would've been interesting to hear the whole statement of both, July and MKP and not only parts of them, but the facts, that came through were very dishearting  -_-

I disagree. Nobody destroys PartinG in PvT. There's people like MKP who can beat him, but there has never been a PvT in which PartinG got destroyed.

Adding to the other posts, if you watch part 3 of the group selection ~27:00, MKP explains how the Startale members reacted to the situation. It's understandable on Startale's part since it wasn't too long after their matches and also a lot of time has passed since, but him saying that he wishes to be in good terms with Startale in the future again implies that the tension between teams is still present and more than just speculative BS.

you should watch gstl more often .
marineking "lost" that game on entombed valley and he was 180 supply and parting was 130 on a battle ; mkp was splitting all army cuz of storms + colossi and still lost .
parting will not drope a single game if it goes over 8 minutes .
