Nomination process should be the same as Season 1 (from a post from Snowbird on gomtv forum), only difference should be the this time the points from Season 1 get used and not points from GSL 2011.

Don´t know yet how this works out with so many players having same amount of points. Expecting updated post from Snowbird in near future.
Group Nomination Process (Season 1 announcement)
- The 4 highest ranked 2012 players are spread to the 4 Groups. 1st place Group A, 2nd Group D, 3rd Group C and 4th Group B.
