Err... this is great but.. I myself live in montreal, and tbh, it is true that there is a big fan base in montreal, but toronto..? Toronto is boring, evevryone goes to bed around 9pm, there is nothing to do there.. we call it: ontario. It is a great city, but not for a starcraft event, thats my opinion. Should definetly have happened in montreal. People from montreal are party animal, evrything is open all night long, could have had great barcraft opportunitys, the night life is much more interesting, and montreal is pretty open minded, not that toronto isnt, but its different.. anyway. I am not gonna drive 6 hours to go to toronto, this city is boring.

i live in Toronto and i basically agree.

I dunno what part of Toronto you live in... maybe... Etobicoke, where there is nothing? Downtown Toronto never sleeps. Random festivals/afterparties are happening every week. Gypsy 2am dance parties in the streets!

downtown Toronto is a small part of the city.
relative to Montreal... Toronto is boring.
ever been to a hockey, basketball, baseball football game in toronto.
its like being in an elevator with 19,000 people.

Ever been to a baseball or basketball game in Montreal? Oh yeah, I forgot -- Montreal has shit-all.
Seriously though, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Grew up in the suburbs north of Toronto, and now live and Vancouver. And honestly, Toronto is great. It's a huge metropolis with major sports teams, and a huge, well-funded arts and culture community. Vancouver and Montreal are cute and all, but it makes most other cities look like in North America (aside from Chicago, LA, New York) look like small potatoes.
You might think Montreal is more exciting, but honestly it's because you live in Toronto. Grass always seems greener somewhere else.

its funny that you consider MLB baseball and/or NBA basketball important...
watching 2 teams that never have a prayer of winning anything is exciting? lolz.

i'd rather go to Christie Pitts on a saturday afternoon than the concrete convertible.

i've lived in montreal for 10 years, toronto for 13 years, and chicaago for 1.5 years.
montreal is more fun than toronto.

Toronto will always attract the premier sports and entertainment events. There is simply a bigger media market and economy there. Which is why NASL is going there.

You can keep you poutine and crappy stripclubs and shove it up your empty bazillion dollar stadium !!!!!!! <--- not serious.

Their strip clubs are far from crappy! Admittedly, they do have a ton of really shady, terrible strip clubs.

And I'd love some Montreal poutine.

Sorry. Couldn't pass it up. When I read NASL1 would be in Ontario, CA I was so happy until I realized my mistake. I guess they listened.

A couple useful facts, since I read all 13 pages and couldn't find the answer:

1) Season 3 starts on April 11th and goes for 8 weeks. Eight weeks after April 11th is June 6th, so we can estimate that the finals will be held in June around that point. I think the finals are after the eight week period, so I'm thinking mid-June (June 15-17 weekend).
Source: http://nasl.tv/News/Article/20120329nasl-season-3-details

2) Is HuK going to be in Season 3? He was in Season 2, so I think they're carrying him forward into Season 3 as well. See: http://nasl.tv/Players

The vote for the "final Protoss" in Season 3 has a list of players who from what I can tell aren't in the current player list.

After the finals they have to do the playoff brackets. That'll take another week. And if they do an open bracket like they did the last 2 seasons, that'll be another week. After that there will probably be a week off before the finals are on. You're most likely looking at a very early July finals.

EDIT: For reference, the S2 regular season ended November 13th. The finals were played on the weekend of December 2nd.
