Season 1 last year ran from April 12th to July 10th according to Liquipedia and I assume that includes the finals. So there's a chance the weekend of 6th-8th this year is the finals weekend.

I really hope you are both wrong and its the next weekend at least July 13th to 15th. I can't make it on the 6th to 8th. But thanks for all the research :-) For the record the only confirm fact is that it is going to be in July based on the details news piece. http://nasl.tv/News/Article/20120329nasl-season-3-details

Toronto is boring, evevryone goes to bed around 9pm, there is nothing to do there.. we call it: ontario. It is a great city, but not for a starcraft event, thats my opinion. Should definetly have happened in montreal. People from montreal are party animal, evrything is open all night long, could have had great barcraft opportunitys, the night life is much more interesting, and montreal is pretty open minded, not that toronto isnt, but its different.. anyway. I am not gonna drive 6 hours to go to toronto, this city is boring. Spoken like a true French Canadian sir. Go Habs! While I'm sure having such an event in Montreal in July would be amazing (Montreal is wonderful in July), the facts remain - Toronto is the largest city in Canada (5.377 Million. Montreal = 3.75 Million, Vancouver = 2.197 Million, Ottawa 1.17 Million, Calgary 1.16 Million) - Flights into Toronto are much cheaper than into Canada, and Toronto is a hub for more airlines than Montreal - As a measure of eSports, Toronto has a much stronger fan-base than Montreal Not sure why you think Toronto is boring. I've been to both Montreal and Toronto several times and enjoy both cities very much. Also, driving 6 hours to Toronto is better than driving dozens of hours to pretty much any other SC2 event. Oh I forgot the best reason for having it in Toronto instead of Montreal......fewer French Canadians ![]()

[image blocked] we really didnt need to go that far in the MTL VS TO debate I agree, poor taste but the whole "people go to bed at 9pm" is equally stupid. The bottom line is any Canadian should be stoked NASL is coming, because it just means that other organizations will have a benchmark they can look at when they consider where they want to go... I think people are also being extremely short sighted, logistically planning an event internationally is going to double your headaches, now try to take that to Quebec... things will become even more difficult, there's a reason why those Alienware Arenas and other random online cups often say in the fine print no one from Quebec....
