Toronto is boring, evevryone goes to bed around 9pm, there is nothing to do there.. we call it: ontario. It is a great city, but not for a starcraft event, thats my opinion. Should definetly have happened in montreal. People from montreal are party animal, evrything is open all night long, could have had great barcraft opportunitys, the night life is much more interesting, and montreal is pretty open minded, not that toronto isnt, but its different.. anyway. I am not gonna drive 6 hours to go to toronto, this city is boring. You know.. having party animals and crazy wild night isn't all that good. Toronto is great choice as it is the "center" of Ontario and many (tons) people will be able to attend. Having good night life does not equal to good event.

Toronto is boring. ever been to a hockey, basketball, baseball football game in toronto. its like being in an elevator with 19,000 people. Ever been to a baseball or basketball game in Montreal? Oh yeah, I forgot -- Montreal has shit-all. Seriously though, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Grew up in the suburbs north of Toronto, and now live and Vancouver. And honestly, Toronto is great. It's a huge metropolis with major sports teams, and a huge, well-funded arts and culture community. Vancouver and Montreal are cute and all, but it makes most other cities look like in North America (aside from Chicago, LA, New York) look like small potatoes. You might think Montreal is more exciting, but honestly it's because you live in Toronto. Grass always seems greener somewhere else.

Share me some knowledge? basically its going to be the top 16 people who are going to be live on location playing there games until only one remains not sure how many games but pretty sure single elimination

Both cities are awesome and have their bonuses. I agree Montreal's night life is better. But does that make Toronto's night life shit? No. You can find places to party in Toronto til 6 am if you really wanted to. There are a few afterhours clubs you can go to. And besides, you could always make a trip to Niagara Falls (1.5 hour drive from downtown Toronto... hell 100% of the time I am willing to go to Niagara late at night to gamble/party... so I'd take you). Just be happy we are going to have a huge SC2 event up in Canada. Hopefully others will see how awesome it is and host stuff up here more often. I encourage anyone within a few hours of Toronto to make the trip. Accomodations are easy to find since it's the summer time. Take a look at UofT residences. They are mostly empty and willing to do large group rates. I think I still know some people there and can help you guys check availability/book. Anyways, let's all rejoice and be happy, friendly Canadians like we were born to be.
