I still see GomTV as the major league..they are far ahead..and when Proleague starts GomTV will be even better. The skill diffrence between Sc2 players and BW players will also be huge at the start..and it will take a looooooong time until proleague players are even close to players as drg, nestea, mvp, mma, mc, leenock etc.

I never played BW competitively but I have massive respect for the community and what it's given us in return. Without its success, you wouldn't have SC2 or TL like they are today. Sick of seeing trolls trying to be funny and incite backlash. You're only helping to widen the divide between the communities rather than build something to bridge the two together.

And the reason why OGN and MBC were able to co-exist was because BOTH of them bended over to KeSPA's demands of BW licensing fee. GOMtv didn't bend over when they ran the TG-Sambo Intel Classics, which pissed KeSPA off and forced all of the players to stop participating in GOMtv-ran tournaments. And I highly doubt that GOM will pay up to KeSPA just to bring players under KeSPA contract to GSL.

He would never do that, because he doesn't live in a cave and realizes starcraft 2 is the future. Let me get this straight, everyone who still follows BW is either a) gay b) lives in a cave c) both. As it stands, LoL is bigger than SC2. I like to look at facts. Good news is Blizzard still has a few expansions to get it right, which will help but this community is still closed off like hell.

Now OGN is a huge Korean broadcasting company, at least the company it's a subsidiary of. If indeed SC2 is broadcasted by a company like OGN, is broadcasted on television, and reaches the same overwhelming Korean audience that worships Brood War, SC2 will get HUGE exposure. It's exactly what SC2 needs to go from "underground" to mainstream over in Korea. In other words, it's a huge fucking deal. I hope Blizzard is able to come to terms with Kespa before LoL dominates the e-sports scene in Korea.. Brood War does, by far. LoL isn't the country's 2nd or 3rd most popular professional sport last I checked, and it's nowhere close to coming to that point, either.

There is a lot of history between Blizzard,KeSPA and GOM, but I can't believe that relationships established with foreign tournaments are not going to play a role in how this whole thing pans out. Who ever has less hoops and costs for players to go through in order to be able to play both Korean and Foreign events is going to have a pretty strong negotiation trump card to play. Which is why I made my previous post about how KeSPA will position themselves with regards to SC2. We already know they are going to have to work with Blizzard in a far closer relationship then BW, but what about player contracts? Will players still be so cool with giving KeSPA the ability to ban or prevent them from playing in certain events. Like for reasons that are more political between organizations and the player being a pawn for it.

and i hope everyone can play everything (assuming they're skilled enough). I don't want proleague to be an exclusive, no mixing, you play in proleague and only proleague kind of thing, and any rare event where things cross over is rare as all hell. That's the only part I'm really nervous about.
