I think that's what the Korean scene needed. Maybe Korean Teams can afford better player conditions etc. now where there's bigger cash flow and just more to do.
I mean all those not super-successful players leaving their Korean Teams in order to get their money within non-korean tournaments and teams was quite the indication.
And well Starcraft 2 needed that as well of course, especially with othe other uprising eSports titles, DotA-Clones in particular.

Well . . . i'd assume all "current" sc2 pros will get licenses for kespa....if they let all sc1 players 'have sc2 licenses.'
|
I'm sure that a SC2 Proleague/OSL and GSTL/GSL can work together, no problem. But what about Korean going in foreigners tournaments ? I mean, will they just only have the time to do so ?
|
On the proleague sc2, I wonder if they'll cater at all to foreign fans. Unlike brood war, there's significantly more foreign fans of sc2 than Korean fans. I wouldn't mind at all if they didn't have English casters, I actually prefer Korean commentating(preference even though I don't speak the language). Proleague also has no experience with catering to a foreign audience online. So I'm really interested to see how they'll set it up.
This is the first season I've ever watched of proleague, and its been a blast (flash vs stork was so cool). BW is so much fun to watch. I sincerely hope it lasts for at least another year.

When I read the title I expected
Mike Morhaime "SC2 Proletariat..."
but was disappointed.
|
Is this the real life or is this just fantasy?
|
will this be better for foreigners or worse? will kespa allow "their" players to play in mlgs ipls etc?

Korean Girls and boys everywhere wet themselves in excitement.
The only way this could be exciting is if flash and jaedong were using the GOM talkshow handicaps like the bear mask! =]]

MVP/NesTea would ROFLSTOMP them, if they aren't training for 6month+++

That would be the shit!
Exciting, very very.

I don't like the comparisons of two leagues in BW to pro league and gsl in sc2. There are a LOT of foreigner tournaments to compete with, and gsl already is producing a ton of content. I wonder how this will affect GSL, I've grown very fond of it.

I just pray to god that "Elephant in the room" thread isn't open anymore :o

Kespa coming to ruin everything again. This sucks
I'm scared they will kill off foreigner starcraft T_T

That won't happen.

do you have any idea why BW fans dislike kespa?
|
I'm sorry Gom, I love the GSL and watch it in support of you whenever I can... but fuck your monopoly and give these talented deserving progamers more opportunities to earn!

And how will they "kill" foreigner starcraft?

This is amazing news. I really hope Kespa/Blizzard negotiations go well. Let's finally answer the everlasting question of are BW pros gonna dominate if they switch to SC2!
|
So this is the beginning of the end of BW ?

Shit just got real.
Let's see what happens.
