Will they attempt to lock it down like how BW teams contracted, or will it remain an open type deal. These really only pertains to Korean teams. But as for foreign teams, it would be insteresting to see to what degree they particpate. BW teams can buy all the SC2 teams 10 times over, if they want to. I'm not sure they will bother though. They'll probably play in Proleague only and ignore GSL. Not worth the time or money for a foreign team... I thought from a business perspective, current BW teams cannot act without KeSPA approval or at least have KeSPA at the table. My point was (regardless of who ends up buying who), will the Korean scene become much more....in a bubble?...by have KeSPA act as a kind of business shield for team interest (who plays what where and when) or will it be a more open KeSPA...or will KeSPA be modified into a kind of Global association with Liquid/EG/Dignitas/Mouz/etc. with places at the table? Similar to the Nada/Euro incident, couldn't KeSPA refocus team attention on Korean leagues with less leeway then GSL (for example moving match-ups or play dates pending foreign tournament involvement)? I'm just really curious to see how they restructure according the much more present SC2 global scene versus the far more Korean centric BW scene. Open hand or closed fist sort of thing. There's way too much money from winning foreign tournaments. In BW there was no money outside of Korea so Korean players didn't give a shit. Now you can win $30-50k in a weekend outside of Korea. That's way too much money for Korean players not to come and with GOM currently charging westerners KeSPA will of course also be interested in making more money. It's a no brainer.

Having one more tournoment isnt going to stop LOL from over shadowing sc2 cuz people like LOL like it cuz its diffrent, free, team play, more casual... Perhaps this is difficult for you to understand but it's possible for multiple ESports to exist at once. This a complicated concept, so mull it over for a while and come back.

It will definitely be awesome to be able to watch the GSL as well as the SC2 Proleague, making for much more entertainment. I also somehow foresee that many current BW professionals will switch over to the SC2 Proleague as soon as they deem it profitable, and thus we may well see a resurgence of skill into professional StarCraft 2. All of this is pretty exciting to me. To be fair there's no foreigners in GSTL either. But if there's an Sc2 OSL then foreigners will I'm sure be welcome to attempt to qualify.

On another note if the big guns such as Flash and Jaedong, etc switch to SC2 it will have a massive impact on SC2 becoming more popular in korea i think.

Huk was oGs' ace. If you look its not even oGs in the GSTL, its oGsTL and has been for some time. Also Sase and Naniwa can be used by StarTale. Oh and that time QXC all killed IM.

On the other hand SC2 will be getting an actual serious league that won't have cheap foreigner seeds, weird tournament formats and the worst team league format ever designed.

Having another large scale tournament in Korea can only be a good thing. Right now - even with the changes in the Code S/A structure - the turnover of people in Code S is rather small :/ Having another tournament would give us much more stars, and people rising to top spots. Geeee~ I can't wait :3
