Beating MMA 3-1 doesnt really make you a chump. I think Puma would do very well in code S,

I doubt that. The win against MMA was the first win against a Code S player for a long while. If we take out MC than it's really hard just to find another (code-s) player that he actually beat. (atm noone comes to my mind, but there might be someone). His winratio against the top of korea is very bad. That's no shame at all, we all know Puma is a very good player, but barely not the level of code s.

Recently Puma has been impressing me. Especially at the latest IEM tournanent, I can hardly name alot of terrans playing better then him at the moment. Probably only MKP, who is in great form, Jjakji and MMA I rate higher as terrans .Norrmally MVP aswell but I think he is injured and because of that not producing results.

There are at least 15 terrans better than Puma, even though he truly is top 3 at managing engagements, behind Jjakji.
Also, this is a heavy blow to Slayers, even though they never truly showed much caring for Taeja, he was probably the 2nd best player, with the most potential on the team, puzzle got nothing on him.

Did 15 come out of your random number generator? 15 is not very likely. The ones I named plus maybe 1 I forgot.

Yeah... this is really going to hurt Slayes in the GSTL. Although, how many of us had heard of Taeja, Ganzi, or MMA prior to their joining Slayers. Boxer seems to have a gift for finding diamonds in the rough.
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.

Jessica's twitter on google translate implied that the military service couldnt be postponed again... it did a poor job translating though

Liquid`Taeja would be better than Liquid`Ganzi since Ganzi has to do military service sooner and wouldn't be able to stay on the team as long. Also, Taeja is a better player.

Liquid badly needs a Terran.

Totally unexpected... but best wishes to both players. Seem like all parties are happy and there are no hard feelings. Looking forward to seeing who picks up Ganzi and Taeja.

Mvp, sC, Happy, Jjakji, Keen, GanZi, MKP, Bomber, SuperNoVa, aLive, MMA, GuMiho, Polt, TaeJa, Ryung , TheSTC and maybe Boxer, Clide and ForGG IMO are better then PuMa.

I agree that Taeja is better then Ganzi. Never liked Ganzi for some reason(like Polt), no particular reason. Not sure if Liquid is the right team for Taeja though. I was thinking of a team that could actually use a korean with the quality of Taeja like SK. Definitely not EG or Col.

Really unexpected for Ganzi to leave.

I wish both of them the best of luck, and I hope Ganzi finds what he's looking for.

why does everyone think EG will pick them up... EG is not a dog that waits at the korean pro-table begging for scraps of teamless players. Just because they work with slayers doesn't mean anything either. keep in mind EG recently let players go, I don't think they're looking to recruit more high-maintainence koreans who don't bring in much ROI.

... don't bring in much ROI?

... do you know how good Taeja and Ganzi are? They have an enormous chance of dominating foreign tourneys.

Having said that, EG already has a good Korean terran, so I don't know whether they'd be in the market for another. I'd imagine that the other EG players are feeling the heat... (i.e. idra, demuslim, etc.)

Liquid would really benefit from Taeja or Ganzi.

That's really sad :/
Hope that both will do well in the future!
I'm curious though whether they will both join the same team or whether they will be on total different teams (more likely imo).

Liquid needs a Terran. Look at their teamleague line ups, it's either all Zerg or all Zerg plus HerO.

Too bad there isn't a team like Airforce Ace in sc2 so players like Ganzi and Check that are going in to the military can still play sc2 and serve at the same time.

wow recently there's been a lot of fuzz in the sc2 scene. what is suprising most though is that all of the sudden so many koreans want to play for foreign teams...
sc2 has done so much for connecting the global scene. in one year it has done more in this perspective than bw in 10! just consider all the int. tournaments w/ korean players or the amount of foreigners in korea to compete in the gsl. plus all the koreans on foreign rosters...

as for these two and the slayers team best of luck in the future!
