Everyone looking at Puma and saying "LOL I'm about 10x better than that chump yet he earns 50x more than I do"

Makes sense, sadly

Most of the sc2 money and tournaments are in the Foreign scene, thou I don't like it either, but I don't blame them. There is a lack of money and tournaments in the Korean sc2 scene cause it's all still in sc1 at the moment.

I think this is a good oppertunity for ZeNEX to pick up some players. If they're willing to send them to forgein tournaments I bet they'd play for ZeNEX. They'd have to get sponsors first though.

Tbh, I dont think its a problem, its soooo many good koreans, I think its good for foreigners also to have 2-3 good koreans in theier team, like EG and Liquid got now, I dont mind them even bringing in a couple more...

I know that ryung and ganzi both stated that they have a distaste for MMA, though.

Beating MMA 3-1 doesnt really make you a chump. I think Puma would do very well in code S,

Ganzi is only 24, he can still delay his military service for quite some years, if he wants to. I wonder if really money is the reason for those two to leave, since slayers was known as one of the richer korean teams and sending quite a few players across the world in the last 6-9 months. Maybe some internal issues and disagreement with the team structure, but this is just speculation.

But really suprising to see 2 of their best players leave.

I feel bad for complexity, they could have had these two over killer/heart.

I think this 'issue' is in most korean teams. They just cannot afford to send 4-5 players to every foreign event. Nestea even mentioned that he feels bad for players like IMHappy who was doing well (semi in GSL, semi in WCG Korean) but got very little exposure and couldn't go to many foreign events.

I'm sure they're going to get payed well by a foreigner team, but I don't know if leaving the slayers house will be what's best for their careers in the long run; there just seems to be so much benifit from training with slayers; especially as a terrn

I think Killer is probably as strong as Taeja, Heart is a bit weaker though.

It's probably not about "not liking him", rather him having all the shiny lil' toys in the house and keeping them for himself.

Maybe they actually got a better offer and they parted ways with slayers amicably?

Not every progamer wants to be grinding their ass off in korea , only to have that one opportunity to actually make money every few months ( GSL Code A trials ).

Chances are korean teams are only going to send their very best players ( DRG , nestea , mvp , mma , mc , puzzle , genius , leenock ) to foreign tournys anyway.

Anyway , hope taeja finds a good home soon , haven't seen much of him but he is good.

I didn't say he was a chump but I'm pretty sure Code S players, frustrated with the amount of money they make compared to a presently Code B player (though he is arguably Up/Down worthy), would certainly think that :p

Yeah, I was saying if they drummed up some sponsors, obviously they've been looking.

Taeja and GanZi have officially left SlayerS.

Slayers_Jessica announced on March 13th that Ganzi/Taeja have both left the team. The reason being that both players wished to pursue foreign team opportunities. SlayerS announced that they plan to use the team draft http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=319224, to replace these two players.

(T)GanZi:

First off, Ganzi left SlayerS because of his enlistment period and his desire to play for a foreign team. Ganzi has been a long time gamer ever since the BW days, and now he must soon enlist in to the army. Before he goes to the army, Ganzi expressed his wishes to be in a foreign team until then in order to experience what it was like.

(T)Taeja:

Taeja, who never even lived in the SlayerS team house, was very used to his own individual practice routine, decided to leave SlayerS also to pursue an opportunity with a foreign team. Taeja stated that "as a former SlayerS player, he was going to take this opportunity to play for a foreign team while producing good results worthy of a professional Korean gamer."

SlayerS_Jessica decided to respectfully honor the two players' wishes, and plans to replace the two opening spots through the new and upcoming team draft.

SlayerS_Jessica stated that "Taeja and Ganzi both represented SlayerS well with their results and were also valuable players for SlayerS in the GSTL. Therefore while it is very hard on the team to let them go, SlayerS respects both players' decisions and hope to see them do well in the future with foreign teams. I would like to express my gratitude to both players for all their hard work with SlayerS"

Also SlayerS_Jessica stated that now that SlayerS has publically announced both players officially leaving the team, she wishes that this will put all the rumors to rest. She also wished that whatever foreign team(s) accepts these two, it/they will be as enthusiastic to work with them as they are to work with a foreign team. SlayerS plans to take this opportunity to fill up Taeja and Ganzi's spaces and to produce great new players.
