I main terran on EU and play zerg in diamond on NA and it's kind of funny how few terrans I hit, and when I do either they play relatively standard and I completely roll them or they do something fucking weird that I'd never do TvZ and since I've never played it or played against it I just die. Where have all the marines gone? And where is all the stim? Where's the cheesing bm fucks, A-moving with a grin? Is there an overpowered mule dropped down from an OC? I click and spam and I search at night and I dream of what I need. I need a terran! I'm holding out for ZvT till the end of the countdown. And he's gotta make rines and he's gotta make tanks And he's gotta not 2-rax allin. | ||

EDIT: A couple of people mentioning the community prejudice against terran and OH GOD was that ever true even until a few months ago. For a while there the words 'terran op' were enough to make my vision red, and after that I just saw it so often that it was like the words were burned into my fucking retinas. It was boring. Coming to TL when GSL or MLG was on you could just expect a ton of whine and abuse because fucking kids on forums got so angry it was like terrans were killing children or something. IT'S NOT MY FAULT I PICKED TERRAN, GOD JUST LEAVE ME ALONE DAD. I'M SORRY!! I'M SORRY I CAN'T BE WHO YOU WANT ME TO BE! | ||

People figure out things that work given the current metagame and well, terran has had their easy wins for quite a few seasons now. Now that that's gone, a lot of them actually have to increase their overall skill (something toss and zerg already had to do long before). I guess that's just too much to handle for a lot of people. I know a guy who bunker rushed his way into diamond and suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Guess what he does? He cries about balance and rage quits terran. He's zerg now because "their macro is so ridiculously easy". What I'm trying to say is terran is getting more difficult to play because the metagame has changed and people learned how to deal with early /midgame terran timings, 80% of which used to win terrans the game. | ||
