He's playing against whitera as we speak on whiteras stream. Clearly hes not that busy.

Or was it Naniwa that had 13000 stream viewers two days in a row last week?
He'll come find you soon enough.....try not to look too desperate while you wait :-)
I remember you from other Stephano threads I pretty much expected a comment like that from you lol.
Still made me giggle though.

Stephano is streaming as well. The chat should tell him about this thread.
He's just playing SC2. No big deal >.>

I'm getting in that chat just to tell him. I hope this does something. Of course he may already know and intentionally letting this get blown way out of proportion by the fanboys/haters from both sides just to get more hype.

Do you people really think Naniwa and Stephano would put out 10k dollars of there own money?
Really o.0
What they shoudl do instead is selling the showmatch to the highest bidder and then make money

Yes, but both of them think they are 80/20 favorites. That's the way money matches work.

1. Pretty sure that Naniwa has bet large amounts of money on showmatches before, so Yes. Not sure about Stephano, but he probably has the cash to spend.
2. People won't even pay 20 bucks for a weekend's worth of pro-level play, so what makes you think that someone's going to pay anything close to thousands of dollars for a single BoX showmatch? It wouldn't generate as much hype, either >.>

True enough. That is what is going to make this awesome!
Also: I have gone into the Stephano stream chat and derailed their "white-ra is diamond" chat, now they are having a secondary conversation "Stephano is OP, not zerg" and a tertiary one about this thread.
Edit: according to his mods the showmatch will happen "soon" although I don't know if that is official word or just something to get those of us being annoying about it to shut up.

I feel Stephano would win this relatively easily just do to their respective styles. Naniwa's unidimentional but solid PvZ could not hold against Stephano's insane aggression or macro. But I would certainly root for Naniwa all the way though, I just can't stand Stephano's arrogant attitude, it's about time someone puts him in his place (like Polt did at Assembly! haha).

I'd watch this 1000%! And I'd guess at least 50K other people....

To be honest, I think Naniwa would destroy Stephano just because he'll actually take it seriously and do his research. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see Stephano as the type who prepares for specific players, and he's not going to learn much about Naniwa's playstyle by laddering all day.

He is a champion, his attitude is one of his greatest strenghts he dont give a damm who he is playing against and he expect to win.
Thats how champions are made.

LOL We have people coming to TL to complain about $5-20 for a weekend or week's worth of games and we have people here making post about why we don't see more people chipping in for a 5k-10k piss match lol.

I would argue that, in fact, the real (gsl) champions have been made by doing their research, studying their opponents and bringing their strengths to bear on those opponents' weaknesses. So, while his attitude serves him well it is not that of a champion, it is instead that of a prodigy who has not yet found a teacher. He is incredibly good at what he does but has not yet found a way to perfect his raw talent.

IF THIS HAPPENS, I'm willing to take side bets. Naniwa has this in the bag.
