Yep really bad move by EG. Punishing orb for something he said a long time ago, before he was a staple in the community. Back in the beta Orb was known for being bad mannered. It's EG's fault for using him despite his previous record. By using him they did not care about his previous rap. Punishing him for him after the fact is ridiculous. If that's what EG believes in why is Idra playing for them. Having played at lan versus some of EG guys here in Calgary/Edmonton on lan in the past for counter-strike, they've been pretty chill guys (Black Panther was boss), | ||

Who is Orb? what does he do? I never knew this guy. I agree calling people niggers is bad, but hey lots of people talk bad stuff like insulting your mother or wishing your family to die. I would understand this kind of discussion if Tastotis blurted out something terrible in GSL. Am I missing something? | ||

On that note, someone mentioned that he is not offended by "cracker", vanilla or stuff like that.. I dont think that you can compare that. Its in the nature of these insults. At least for me it is, with a different view on that (and maybe not knowing what cracker actually means). Just out of curiousity, is "black guy" ("that black guy over there" for example) in the US considered okay? | ||

It's a shame, but Orb had to be released. EG has sponsors to please, if they don't fire people like Orb then they could lose sponsors. Now as for EG Alex.... not sure what to say other than: it's a little easier to fire someone when they aren't bringing in money. Orb vs Idra, is it really surprising that Orb was treated differently than Idra? That happens all the time also, the more important you are, the less your punishment seems to be.
