No, pretty much everybody rages and says stupid insulting things, heck I bet if you ran through every replay of WhiteRa you would find some case of BM from years ago or something. Everybody does it there is nothing inherently wrong with it. The place where this all started was bored people on Reddit who have too much time on their hands and an insatiable urge to witch hunt people. | ||

The place where this all started was bored people on Reddit who have too much time on their hands and an insatiable urge to witch hunt people. no it all started when Orb started acting like a douche from what ive heard about Orb alot of his fans are from when he started casting in NASL and hes been well known as a raging BMer since beta so since alot of people didnt like him its only obvious for them to look for every black spot hes got and it jsut so happens that Orb has a huge giant blackspot that he tried to hide very poorly | ||

While speaking in english, of course. it depends alot depending on the context, where you use it, who your are, who your talking to and what exactly you say but generally you wont get in too much trouble using it in a joking manner among friends but in public its pretty frowned upon | ||

In the USA however, it seems that context is irrelevant and intent is irrelevant, if you say nigger you are to be nailed to a cross and have your career ruined. | ||

Pretty much everybody does NOT rage and say stupid insulting things. Yes, a lot of people do... but the majority? No. I've seen White-Ra's bad-manners. I've seen him make snide comments and be sarcastic. He does not just throw out insults like Orb did. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people out there like Orb. But they're a plaque to gaming, and are something I want to see actively discouraged. You don't have to be perfectly civil -- just a little bit. Even the Korean pros will be rude to each other and show genuine bad-manners. But there is a difference. There are lines of decency and behavior that they don't cross. Maybe some people don't see that line, or want to argue it shouldn't exist -- but it does. Don't call people "nigger", it's a pretty simple, basic life lesson that I learned long before I can even remember. But then again, I don't have a racist family. | ||
