Learning from this is one thing, but your going to also have to learn to live with it. The internet certainly won't let you forget. People get mad and BM all the time on ladder, I never really thought you were more out of line than your standard SC2 ladderer. Think it's a bit of an overreaction by the community, and I've always liked you as a caster.

a most convenient timing for this all to "happen". no one gave a shit when he was "only" doing esv casts, now he makes it to a big stage, people are digging up 8 month old screenshots to try to tear him down. sad day, but that is the internet.

i didnt really care for orb before, but i will try my best to support whatever project he is going to do next.

Hopefully certain players will have gotten the message that there are things you cannot say if you want to retain a job in the public eye.

Certainly this is unfortunate for orb, but it was unfortunate for Coca and Byun too. Sometimes you just have to put your foot down.

This apology has lost its integrity and sincerity at the moment you decided to deny your actions. The moment you decided to attack people for slandering you. The moment you chose to treat the community like a bunch of dim-wits.

I am sure you will make your way back but the time of this apology and that it took so much to trigger it is not exactly in your favor.

Edit: I'm trying to say that I'm a bit disappointed that it took heavy ramifications for your personal life to be sorry. I wish it wouldn't come off as being sorry for your loss rather than for what you did. You know what I mean? It took losing your job to feel sorry. Where is the part about denying it and saying it was a friend in this apology? Where is the sincerity?

Sucks your the first one to have this come back and bite them, but everyone rages on ladder I think things said on it should be taken with a grain of salt. That being said even at my worst I wouldn't say anything of that nature.

Its a good apology and I'd probally still watch if he casted again. He said this though, "It's a shame I had to ruin this for myself before it even started" and this is not true, if he handled the situation with any decency and respect he could have saved face and kept his job most likley. Issuing a long respectful and serious apology after the first allegation came out before EG adressed it would have the best thing to do.

Although the SC2 community has it's head in the right place regarding zero-tolerance towards racism, going about this issue the way a lot of people did was wrong. This matter should have been dealt with internally and not expressed on such a large scale.

I hope you learn from your mistakes Jake, you're a great caster.
