However -- if this kind of thing was posted INITIALLY, I'm not sure orb would've seen such consequences especially because what drew even more attention primarily was that it was an obvious lie/coverup, which then led to a whole bunch of other shit and discussion that sort of spiraled out of control and drew more and more attention to itself. Perhaps the racial issues brought up and their treatment is representative of an evolving and dynamic gaming audience participating in the scene and I think during a time of growth that can only be a good thing. But it's kind of like Clinton and Lewinsky. It's the lying about it that really angers people. The real issue wasn't that Bill was getting blowjobs in the office or is unfaithful to his wife or whatever, I mean some people cared, but Congress eventually tried him for perjury. | ||

To a lot of people faggot is just as offensive. Gay people have suffered a huge amount of discrimination. Just because you think it's OK to use that word doesn't make it so. | ||
