SaSe, MorroW and HuK with good chances for me, maybe good showing for ToD, Naama and majOr but I don't see it.

I think Huk, SaSe, and XiGua (why wasn't he included in the poll?) have the best shot at getting through the qualifiers.

Sase, major, naama & morrow with decent chances, but I fear for the brain-farts that seem to plague at least these Scandinavian players. Best of luck!

Wait HuK gets knocked out in the Ro48 and he gets put right back into Code A? I'm assuming that even if he 0-4s his group he's still in Code A? What the hell?

Probably because GOM's foreign viewership will drop a lot if there are exactly 0 foreigners playing in it.

Its definitely not that HuK has been a mainstay code S protoss or anything... Sure viewership played a role but don't discredit huk

Huk is good and that's why they can do it without huge backlash. Viewership is why they did it at all though.

Where's the "no foreigners will legitimately qualify for GSL" option?

It's not that outrageous. Last year anyone who was the highest placing non-Code S player in the top 3 at MLGs would get an automatic Code S seed. Huk did get 3rd at the Arena, an MLG event, and the finalists were both Code S players already (MKP and DRG). Besides, it's not a Code S spot, but simply an Up and Down seed.

SaSe, Morrow and Major have probably the best chance to qualify. Also, both chinese players, Xigua is actually really good.

I would almost consider it a qualifier "upset" if HuK didn't make it, or certainly as close to one as it can get in such a rigorous process.

I hope at least one person qualifies. Really embarrassing for foreigners that nobody has been able to get into code A legitimately.

This is slightly off topic, but I'm just curious about LastShadow. Assuming this is the same guy from bw, I don't get how he's all popular and accepted given how much he was shunned due to his hacking (and I'm not sure if I remember this one correctly, but maybe some bm as well?). It just seems odd to see so many reversed attitudes towards him.

He paid his dues, same as TT1.

Yes, Huk did get 3rd at the Winter Arena, but look who he won. A buch of low tier foreigners and one korean toss. Considering what kind of match-up PvP is, I say that he was practically given the 3rd place for free. The groups/brackets favored him ridiculously. Huk was bought in to gsl by eg which is a shame, since there would be so many better foreigners than him.

Naama is in code a for 100% btw
