Wait HuK gets knocked out in the Ro48 and he gets put right back into Code A? I'm assuming that even if he 0-4s his group he's still in Code A? What the hell?

Probably because GOM's foreign viewership will drop a lot if there are exactly 0 foreigners playing in it.

Sure viewership played a role but don't discredit huk

All these intervention seeding and invites is why ESPORTS wont be taken serious like classic sports. You don't see sports teams get seeded in playoffs for popularity... ESPORTS so far is more personality entertainment than anything, the more weird odd or outlandish personality you have get the most viewers... Dragon... Destiny... Incontrol....

Ive seen naama beat so many code a/s players in his stream that I believe he is fit for gsl. Hes multitasking is great and his marine split is one of the best in the world. If you've only seen him do scv trains at tournaments then please don't reply "wtf you're such an idiot" etc. Besides he is very entertaining player. I think gsl would be richer with naama in it .

I really hope to se Naama in there some day but I really wouldn't use ladder games as evidence of how skilled someone is

His scv trains are brilliant. They suddenly allow your army to be stronger then expected and alot of timings from both zerg/protoss and terran are suddenly completely thrown off. Against immortal base builds I just grab 30 scv's and go fucking kill them, has never failed, once. It's great ^^

tbh, most casuals out there don't give a shit. they probably enjoy personalities more, because it's easier to relate to then starcraft.

Don't know why i'm quoting 7 post trolls but do you realize he won iem like 3 months ago? Why are you calling me a troll? Because you said that Idra did not have a chance of winning, yet he won the last IEM, came in 4th in Providence. But those facts are not important. I mean, who wants to be confused by facts. These facts do confuse me. Since the last IEM was in Sao Paulo. So maybe you meant the one before that in Kiev? (IdrA actually won 4 IEMs ago) And what MLG Providence are you talking about? He placed 4th in MLG Orlando when he beat Boxer, HongUn and Bomber. In Providence he placed 8th beating Puma and losing to MC and Leenock. When exactly did winnig 1(against a Code B Terran) out of 3 matches became considered a huge accomplishment? Idra is nowhere near Code A or S level, which he has proofen over and over again over the past couple weeks.

That's not entirely true. In Tennis there is a wildcard system too, where players might be seeded in the main tournament or the qualifiers regardless of performance. It is actually used the same way, by giving a place in the tournament to players that will attract spectators.

Give someone else a try, not HuK. Someone who just got knocked out shouldn't be thrown back in. Very disappointing.

I hope no one is faulting HuK though. I think iNcontrol put it best, that if you are given an offer of course you are going to accept it because your career is important, not your "code of honor" (though some have different standards, you can't blame anyone).

gogo foreigners. glad to see so many try. want sase to take it though!!

Lets hope someone wins a game

Lawl, HuK finished 3rd at MLG. If there was still the MLG-GSL exchange program, he would've earned his spot. Maybe they gave it to him because of that, although it wasn't official.

Huk, Sase, and Major have the best chances I think. If Morrow could just clean up his god damn zvz then definitely.
