lol you are asking for a ban for telling a moderator to shut up.
Lucky it's just a temp ban. ___
Anyways I really don't think patching the game right before a major tournament is a good idea. I'm just wondering how the tournament games will be played out in TvZ with ghosts not being as powerful as they currently are in lategame TvZ.

So going by your logic Shizna, the guy who got banned did the right thing by voicing his opinion. Then he got banned for it.... which is why we're having this discussion.
Contradicting yourself isn't the smartest thing to do when you're trying to argue with someone.

Doesnt tell you anything about texture of game. Sure Terran was too strong at the start of the game and got the vast majority of their wins first 15 min but that doesnt mean they arnt weak late AND have barley a mech option late unless it's TvT. As poor as terran does late, the Ghost is necessary for them to even have a shot vs Protoss and Zerg late and blizz is nerfing it so I expect even worse performance late. Sure may help us get to 50/50 w/l rates but that's not balance.
Balance would be 50/50 the first ten minutes 50/50 the next ten and 50/50 after that meaning all race is equally favored at any time during the matchup. Anyway, yeah Ghost snipe is stupid but until they address mech (like for example putting an irradiation cloud on thors so they are not eaten alive in seconds by broodlings or making tanks actually hurt protoss) ghosts will be needed in their unerfed form.
Hellions were touched. They had thier damage to light reduced.

i don't see why it's so 'puzzling'.
he replied to a rhetorical comment with 'shut up, blah blah blah' without even commenting on the topic. it was a personal attack.
i don't see anything wrong with making a rhetorical comment implying that blizzard is 'retarded' for deciding to add a very controversial patch on the day before two huge events. it's hyperbole, and obviously not an insult to blizzard employees.
be honest with yourself, are you really defending blizzard or are you just being a WUM?

Sweet, I can't wait to never play a Terran again!

Eh, I think this might be the patch that does me in. I'm already having trouble vs. toss and zerg lategame and it's only gonna get harder. I think I might quit until HotS is released.

Does anyone know when the patch will be out for KOR? is this going to affect the finals/semifinals of the GSL?

Oh, please, I just said that Blizzard is wrong in patching before two major tournaments, and I'm definitely not a WUM. You are terrible at engaging in discussion. This is the second time you clearly misrepresent what I said. I won't continue with this conversation since it is clearly not fruitful (mainly because you are just being such a ZTK).

I just don't get comments like these when I highly doubt you get into that scenario very much lol. But whatevs ^^.

It's a matter of principle. If terran lategame currently is crap, and blizzard nerfs the one ability that's holding lategame tvz together. What kind of motivation does that give you to play to the lategame, or even to keep practicing.
I've gotten to the stage where I could use ghosts in lategame tvz like 3-4 times total and the games more often than not end before that stage, so the practical difference isn't big. The issue is that the change is crap, pure and simple, and it combined with other things makes me discouraged to play because I don't feel like there's any worth to it. I look at the hots changes to terran, the new units for protoss and zerg, the recent changes to abiliites and I feel like the game is being taken in a bad direction.

With the new maps? All the time. I am one of the most aggressive players TVZ, I almost always do some heavy harass opening into a push if I can find a timing to attack into, but on something like Cloud kingdom you can't push/reinforce very well at all, and if you do your retreat options are very limited. Probably 80% of my games ended before the lategame a while ago but its more like 40-50% now.

I agree with this they're approaching the balancing the wrong way. The game gets more dull every patch .

It's not about whether you get to the scenario or not, it's a fact that the more you improve the more lategame situations you'll be in and everyone knows TvZ is probably the matchup that goes to lategame the most often. It's really discouraging to try to improve at a game when you know at the end of the road is a hopeless endgame you'll almost never win. Why even try to play a macro game and get better if it's just a disadvantage?

THANK YOU BASED BLIZZARD
Less Terran players winning is always a good thing. :D
As long as it doesn't affect my race negatively I don't give a damn about other races.

I'm curious: why don't infestors hard counter ravens? Just fungal the group to hold them in place, then NP two of them and double seeker missile the whole group (which can't run away because of fungal), killing them all instantly. Neural Parasite only outranges Seeker Missile by 1, which would make it difficult to outrange successfully, were it not for the fact that you can use fungal to hold the ravens still...

It will happen as soon as terrans start using ravens, i.e it won't happen because of that situation :p
