They can't relate to MMA which is a big part, and I doubt they have much useful stuff to say besides eSports.

As a huge MMA fan and SC2 fan, I'd totally go on the show and pimp out the game. Would be fun. I'm not sure that Day9 would really want to, considering how much of the show centers around drugs/supplements, sex and MMA.

I would personally feel that Day9 or DJWheat would better represents the communities values. But that's my 2 cents.

It doesn't seem like it would get taken very seriously I don't know if you've noticed, but Joe Rogan himself is a bit of a nerd. Sure, he's in shape and loves MMA, but he's intelligent and carries in-depth conversations on a huge variety of topics. Day9 would be a surprisingly good fit for the show I think.

The JRE isn't a show purely about MMA, it's more focussed on weekly interesting (deemed interesting by Joe Rogan ![]() I think it's proper to ask the guys who are deemed to be capable to be on the JRE first if they really want to, if they say yes, let's explode Joe Rogan's twitter, as it could give us new insights on the person featured in the podcast (a little bit more about their personal life, probably), and create a little buzz for SC2. PS For guys who want to get the know the show, i highly recommend any JRE with Duncan Trussell involved, but the one featuring Kevin Smith is one of my personal favourites.

One of the main reasons I thought it would be cool though is because I see a TON of similarities between the MMA scene and SC scene. Joe is a very open minded guy and I'm sure would love to learn about E-Sports because of his Quake past as others have said. I also think djWheat and Day[9] as a pair would be the best for the show. So, I just PMed Wheat, and asked him if he would be down for us trying to get him on. Just to let everyone worried about asking first know.

Iirc more than 50% of the aftergame interviews done for whatever tournament are deemed to be "awkward," but nearly never are really. I have no idea why or who gave such momentum to the word "awkward" in this community. Love day9 but I can't say he would do as well

I don't think Day9/Artosis really have the personality to be on a JRE podcast. Slasher/Tasteless/DJWheat would be much better choices. I am super excited for Artosis on Duncans podcast tho, I have been waiting ever since he tweeted it.
