He's currently in Code A, and he has proved himself for the first part, and now it's his chance to prove the second part. But I cannot see him beating any good tosses on the big stage (MC, Puzzle and Genius if he advances) IF he avoids a PvP series, i wouldn't be all that surprised if he did get to the final and perhaps even won the whole thing. Although, if i was a betting man, i would put my money on mma. | ||

Two PvT's against Ganzi, both 2 base gateway timing attacks. How did the games turn out so one-sided? MC popularized this timing, so let's assume he's pretty decent at it, but shouldn't the skill cap be pretty low for a rush like this? I'm sure GanZi will have faced this countless times in his practice. First game, Ganzi sneaks out 9 marines bypassing the stalker. Eventually he loses them but it was an agreeable decision. But being down 9 in army I guess the zealot/stalker army was just too strong. I believe MC had pretty high confidence his timing would work on such few bunkers+ smaller terran army, hence pure zealot/stalker was enough by him. Second game was slightly more confusing. Ganzi went a more standard 3 rax even with stim ready before the push, AND he scouted the proxy pylon. But he still doesn't hold. I feel like he could have held if there were no sentries to stop him from taking advantage of the stim. More bunkers and scv's I guess? | ||

Basically, every foreign Protoss player sucks at using forcefield, and it is very difficult for a Terran to know if their build is safe to a 6 gate. MC is still the only Protoss player where I think the forcefields are intelligently placed and well conserved. | ||
