ESFI World has confirmed through ESV TV that Chinese Starcraft 2 player Lei "XiGua" Wang will be one of two non-Koreans invited to the Korean Weekly Grand Prix at the end of the season. XiGua will be one of the thirty-two competitors vying for the ASUS ROG invite awarded to the Grand Prix champion.
XiGua has made only one previous appearance in the Korean Weekly tournament, Edition #15, where he was defeated by Protoss player MvP.Dream in the opening round 2-0.
Widely regarded as one of the best Chinese players, XiGua's accomplishments in his home country are many, most notably winning the G-League championship twice, as well as taking second at the 2011 World Cyber Games in Seoul, South Korea where he lost 0-2 against IM.Mvp.
