Easy way to get a little bit of money, as we know Korean streamers tend to pull viewers easily enough.
This, i never saw Zenex playe stream, i admit im not to active on checking stream but i saw ST, IM , slayers ... etc player stream a few times

If I were a rich man I would shower ZeNEX with money. As it is, their best bet seems to be learning how to market themselves. They really need to put themselves out there whether it is through interviews, blogs, contests, whatever. The more people know about ZeNEX and the great players they produce the better, and I know of no way to attract attention than to offer content people will want to consume.

ZeNexGeniuses? First has the talent, second the money. I just dont see how this should help zenex

Actually, Zenex was one of the first team to have their players stream, it was a long time ago but byun, hack and puzzle streamed for a bit (well the guy over me said it, and I forgot coca)
They should maybe start again but many good players have not a lot of viewers for some reasons

Unknown/unhyped korean players routinely get a few hundreds viewers, at max. Not really that profitable.

As people have mentioned earlier, you need to make lots of content. Streaming, Videos, Pictures. I'd suggest you ask if someone who knows english and korean well can help you and run an official facebook site for you where you can upload pictures of various team events, videos and updates. A good example for you guys would be something like the SlayerS facebook, with pictures of them playing football, eating together, and ryungs pictures of MMA. If you produce interesting/funny content you will probably be able to reach the mass, and by them reach the sponsors.

I hope this doesn't come off as rude but I think ZeNex needs to employ someone who has a better grasp of the English language to do their posts. Obviously everything was perfectly understandable but Team Liquid forum members aren't exactly the target audience if you're trying to obtain legitimate sponsors. The OP with it's broken English would be a huge turnoff if I were a sponsor. Again, I understand many people don't have extensive educations in English but ZeNex is obviously looking for a foreign sponsor (or they wouldnt have posted here) so they should try and find someone who can communicate professionally.
Good Luck ZeNex, I hope you guys regain some of your former strength !

Koreans aren't good at getting viewers though. Even the Koreans who are 100x better than our streamers get 1/10th the viewers because they don't say goofy or obnoxious things. Its sad the sorts of things that must people look for in a stream to watch

It's because they don't interact with the chat and run 3 commercials in a row as often as possible. Polt and Dragon get a minimum of 2k viewers whenever they are on. Dragon is definitely goofy and that certainly helps draw viewers but Polt isn't really goofy, he just actually responds and chats to the viewers. People are looking for entertainment as much as for skill in a stream. Remember, not everyone watching streams is aspiring to be a pro.

Do you really think a team that has to do these kinds of posts is in a position to employ somebody just to write things in proper English for them?
Since so many western sponsors proclaim to have a boundless passion and undying love for esports, I'm sure they're willing to overlook the quality of the post and pitch right in. + Show Spoiler +

This image has done so much good for Zenex. Sure, it's all meant to be humourous, but the image has spread through the community and TL like a epidemic. Before, people thinking of Zenex might have gone, "who?" or "Wasn't that Puzzle, Coca and Byun's old team?" But now, they think of Zenex as the team with the ripped asian guy, huge sunglasses guy, and the badass team captain that is too badass to stand facing the camera, instead standing perpendicular because he is too badass. Badass
What I am saying is that there have been a lot of posts in this thread about people wanting to donate money to, or sponsor Zenex. What about a community-owned team? If reddit can afford to send MKP to MLG Orlando, and ONOG can afford to run a 3k tournament, is it not possible for the community to sponsor Zenex through donations? As a community funded team, Zenex would have a greater obligation to its fans/owners.
Of course, there is the problem of maintaining sponsorship and keeping the community invested, as well as how much control to give the community over the team, etc.

Well, good luck, but it's a seeming monstrous task to crawl out of such a hole. Zenex has hardly any talent anymore, and clearly is hurting for aid. While they may have fallen out of favor, it would be interesting to see them back in form soon.

Ignoring all else, I don't think a player could live on less than $5,000 (super lowballed and ignoring all other costs) even in a Korean teamhouse environment. If Zenex is to have 10 active players, a coach, and a manager the "community" would need to raise a LOT of money every year.

We should get a ZeNEX team banner picture edited into the OP

I pm'd the account with a simplified version of my ideas post, I hope they read it T_T
+ Show Spoiler + I have heard rumors that Zenex charge their players to stay in their house, it sounds quite likely really..
