Hard time is people keep leaving the team. It's pretty obvious it's because they have no major sponsors (or any I think), however i don't claim to know their finances, this is just one of those common sense things however.

it's a bit of a shame to see this. it's obvious ZeNEX is unsure how to go about things from the business perspective. hopefully they reach out to some western esports organization and get some contacts and insight into the industry.
the only way the community can help is if you let potential sponsors know you care about the team and would buy their shit if they sponsored. idk how you can do that get ZeNEX trending on twitter or some other new media bullshit.

Don't see this attempt working out for ZeNex... goes to show how the korean starcraft 2 industry will not have the success it had off bw. Too much dependance on foreigner viewers, foreign sponsors, and foreign teams. Anyone know what kind of numbers does Gom hit within Korea?

i think the problem stems from back when no korean team had funding, all the gsl wins (aka 90% of the cash) went to 2 teams, those players were willing to use their winnings to support their teams, but those teams with just up and commers or 'code a monsters' back when getting knocked out of code s was impossible got screwed over.
im not going back on my previous post saying korean teams could of worked harder to secure funding, im just pointing out to people who perhaps havent considered it, that for 6 months of last year 2 teams won 90% of the money.

I think this is a good decision, to support a struggling but promising Korean team that created a lot of sick players over the last coupla months. This may be a chance for a big sponsor or sponsoring organisation to get involved in the coveted Korean SC2 proscene and sort of follow in the footsteps of FXO.

People really think this thread should be closed? This shouldn't even be up for debate. Zenex is one of the teams keeping esports going in Korea, sorry if you and your two friends couldn't get a team recruitment thread in SC2 general.
