demuslim wont be going anywhere anytime soon, he has done decent at mlgs and at European events.
this reminds me of people shitting on haypro, and then he fucks over MVP and Nestea.
i hope for irony's sake that DeMuslim wins the next MLG.
I don't see why people keep making this argument, haypro had 1 good instance of play in an entire year, demuslim has done nothing this year really. How do people like you justify your claim that x is so good even though there is nothing really to quantify that claim. It's like me saying that the sky is purple because it is, there's really no results to back this up. Like yes we all realize they're "good" they play professionally, but there's a huge difference from some random footballer from china and messi. Most people are capably of taking a game and often times a set of almost anyone in the world, it'd be almost ridiculous to assume that x will be y 100% of the time, there are bound to be upsets.
He's done much more than "nothing" for the entire year.
These type of results are consistent with many other notable foreigners, and he is able to play with the best when he's in form.
Not sure you can call any of those really good results by any means. They're good for a decent foreigner but the participants in those i feel like don't qualify for super tournaments, it's not like he competes like HuK does in many championships.

I hate bandwagons. I hate how people can have such unbelievably high expectations. I hate you're either in the best in the world and expected to take home championships or you're just a scrub so easily written off and called on to change teams.
Because believe it or not there are good players who don't have 1st place medals who you don't have to call bad.
The problem is that people want to quantify their fanboy beliefs and then hype someone off of just stuff. Noones saying hes bad, but he's not super amazing beastmode like SEVERAL people in this very thread have tried to say. His best results aren't spectacular and taking into account the korean scene he's not very good in comparison. If you want to look at results which would make sense, he has more than ax and strifecro i believe, but they still pale in comparison to people like idra and huk. People treat demuslim and some others like they're secretly just sleeping MVPs that are beastmode, the problem with this is that it has never happened. Ever. I'm 100% okay with people saying that they are great players just don't go nuts and try to put people in other peoples leagues when they don't have the results at all.
Axslav actually got pretty good, he improved a lot and I would say he surpassed iNcontroL
StrifeCro improved too but was still not that good; although he beat iNcontroL in Providence
I would have liked Lz to be removed, he actually got worse and didn't participate in much tournies (and if he did then he didn't get far enough to get noticed).
He's extremely hilarious, but yes he has few results. I'm really sad to see him go, but I don't think we'll be seeing much of either of them in the future. If we do, it'll be Axslav.
let's ditch all homegrown talent in favour of korean trained superstars. sound business decision, but i don't like EG as a result. fortunately for them, i'm just one voice of many.
I figured it would happen eventually, and I think Axslav has a better chance than Strifecro to stick around on a good team... but I'm gonna miss them on EG

need more 2v2, clanwars are more interesting then korean teamleague formats anyway, but oh well can't have everything and the teamleague is easier to organize and follow. But EG should top signing code S players ... there is a curse that moves every code S eg player to code A asap.
Don't feel like reading through 13 pages, sorry if this is being discussed already.
Axslav and StrifeCro both have better results than Machine and LZ, so this can't be a solely performance based decision. Ax and Strife both qualified for IEM NY, Ax almost qualified for IEM Sao Paulo (losing to Ret in the qualifying round) and Ax got to Ro32 at ESWC to lose 2-1 to Stephano.
I expect them to be picked up very quickly, especially Axslav.

They paid massive money for Huk and Idra. They care about NA talent if they're good enough. If there was another NA player in their skill range you better believe EG would be interested but there isn't.

Yes, of course there are. In fact the scene is full of them: MKP, Supernova, Keen, Creator, and many many others fit your description.

this. :o good luck to both of them!
i don't get how people can make that claim though, nobody knows how much they pay lzgamer, my guess is zero salary with just travel accomadations which means little overhead for some brand recognition, i highly doubt EG would make bad business decisions
