Lz, iNc and Machine remain on the team when Axslav is leagues better than all of them...my brain is full of fuck

Isn't Lz casting for NASL from time to time giving himself some exposure? Also he is the best looking player in EG closely followed by demuslim so it make total sense to keep him.

The decision of letting Axslav go is really strange IMO, he might not be as good as Huk and Demuslim etc but he was improving a lot and showed some decent results.
Strife is really cool but sadly didn't show enough results nor improvement so that's kind of understandable.

The 1 big question remains tho:
They remove Axslav and Strifecro but keep LZgamer, W T F ?!?

Strifecro is my fav. player. Too bad EG cut the midtier players... No longer a fan of them.

IMO it's kinda shallow to dislike a team just because they dropped a player. Of course it is your opinion, but if you look at it from EG's perspective they haven't seen many results from Strifecro compared to their other players and frankly it might not be worth the money for him to remain on the team from a business standpoint. Whether you like it or not, these teams are businesses and I believe this decision will inevitably lead to more growth within Esports as EG can allocate their money to players that they may feel are more deserving.

That being said I too regret their decision to part but I wish all parties the best.

Then you have to ask why incontrol is still on the team.

Straight up due to personality?

Incontrol doesn't need to win anything amazingly enough whether u like him or not, he's arguably one of the biggest names in foreign e sports because of his personality. In a growing scene it's not all about who's getting the best results necessarily

To an extent that istrue, but I feel offended.. Are you seriously calling him a "mascot"? iNcontrol's only in this state cuz of real life issues like he mentioned. He will bounce back like terminator ONCE the cloud clears!

Let's talk in a year. I predict he'll still be putting up the same caliber of results. No doubt he's a valuable member for EG (due to his creating a solid, marketable brand) but it's not based on his skill or results, that's for sure.

Ax will land on his feet, I have no doubt. StrifeCro...I dunno. GL guys.

Not surprised by this at all, I thought lzgamer would be on the list too, but maybe his publicity with NASL is keeping him contracted. wish the best of luck to axslav and Strifecro

Scoots is discussing the situation on LO3. Sums it up pretty well.

I'd just assume Lz's contract isn't up.

I'm sorry but you're an IDIOT, if you don't understand why Inc is still on the team. Think about all the things Inc do for the community compared to Lz/Strife/Axslav, it doesn't even compare. This is about advertising your brand.

No offense, but after watching 3000 hours of Starcraft in the last year, I can't remember ever seeing Strifecro and Axeslav win a 2v2 match.

Good luck in the future guys!

Ahh it is sad to see them both go, but at the same time I can see where EG is coming from, from a business standpoint. I can see Axlav picking up a new team, but hard to say about StrifeCro :\

Curious as to the fate of Lz though.

I don't think Lz is demanding that much either. He doesn't live at the house, doesn't attend tournaments, and has his priorities back at home. Again, my guess is that Axslav and Strifecro wanted a better deal and EG couldn't justify it.

Regarding the "why them, why not other guys???", I don't think there's a player in North America, and possibly the world, that does more for his sponsors than iNcontroL... That alone is worth a ton to EG...

Incontrol does a TON for EG marketing wise, he participates everywhere, casts, streams, is funny and knowledgeable, one of the most well known names in the industry, markets the shit out of eSports and EG, why on earth would EG not want him? Winning tournaments is not the only way a player can be very beneficial to his team.

LZ and Machine, on the other hand ... not sure why they would still be there. Maybe they are really good practice partners or something.

if there were any cute professional gamers

shussh, MVP is the handsomeeeeeest of them all!

Yeah it's impossible to know who earns what/gives exactly what ROI but I do find it hard to imagine LzGamer being value for money for EG even if he doesn't want too much in return.
