Yea but as of right now, it looks like he is taking financial security at the cost of his skills. 1 years salary from SK is not worth the drop in skill he will see , not to mention SK will give him a significantly worse deal next year if he hasnt been winning. Like i said before IF SK isnt giving mc at least as much money as he made last year, its a bad deal for him (and even then id consider it a bad deal, what would you prefer to win alot and make your money from prize earnings or not win and get it from a salary, one is obviously more secure but still) and i highly doubt mc is even getting 100k let alone close to 200k

It just so happens that he plays video games for a career.. to be able to achieve a substantial salary + benefits and turning that into a career is his dream, and he just got one step closer. On topic: I'm definitely curious to what happens next: -Does SK have plans to re-open a sc2 team or is MC going to be flying solo for the time being (I know virgil touched on this a few pages back but it wasn't as concrete as I hoped.) -How does MC adapt to his new freestyle training regime? Practice partners won't be a problem but will freedom get in the way of dedication? -Does SK partner with a brand new Korean team? Would make sense that they do. All in all, I'm actually a little sad that MC is leaving oGs purely for emotional and nostalgia factors, but the truth is, this is an exciting time for him. He gets to head up a brand new team as their foundation and as their pillar. Plus hes likely receiving a generous salary - at the end of the day, I'd say he earned it.

They defenitely have bigger plans than this, expect alot more recruits and a new team house being set up. MC might have been in contact with some old BW pros. SK might evenn steal a couple oGs players through MC, only time will tell but all i can say for certain is that SK for sure will get more players soon.

Plenty of terran have, Not to mention 10x more personality which sells. And will sell product for SK. Check out fan club..many more members. MC has more marketability than MVP period. LOL, there are people who actually think this way? XD

Who says he cant practice in oGs house anymore? Who says SK is not in the verge of buying a team (NHSH or Zenex maybe?) or forming their own. Today no one expected this. What happens if tomorrow MVP leaves IM for this (hypothetically). Then you all would be jumping the bandwagon. Seems to me every MC hater out there is trying to find every way to bash the dude. Whether subtle or direct. Joining one of the most successful esports team EVER isn't all that bad, even right now.

And it is stated in the OP that he will be practicing from home. Plus i dont think OGS is happy about losing their star player, he wont be practicing there or it would have been stated in the OP

Stop acting as if KT used Complexity's patented mind confusion technology and stole away MC into the night. Not my favourite news, but stop trying to make some drama out of it
